I am not sure if the director will add that into sonic 4 when they put together ideas or scenes, but it would be nice because supersonic was in 2 and 3 so they should add a new transformation for sonic in the next movie.

Here's my theory for Sonic 4 or 5... what if Gerald secretly cloned himself without Ivo finding out, and that clone of his ends up becoming Eggman NEGA, and that's how they set up Silver and Blaze appearing in the movies. And Metal Sonic ends up being 1 of Eggman Nega's creations and takes orders from him, just like in Sonic Rivals. 🤯
If they somehow manage to bring hyper sonic without disrespecting original material then its gonna be so hype

If hyper sonic returns it would be amazing because he hasn't returned for over 30 years
Last time we saw hyper sonic was in sonic 3 for the Sega Genesis which came out in 1994.
