Not exactly. Wikipedia isn’t good or bad. That’s like saying Google is bad. It’s just a database of info like google. It compiles info from many different sources and puts them into one place. Some of these sources can be “good” like an academic source. Sone of them can be “bad” like political newspapers which spew propaganda after stealing our tax dollars to kill kids and make it look “good” like Israeli media for example.
Wikipedia allows citations for sources so always check the sources used for the details you wanna know in an articke

I will say this next paragraph as someone who has recovered from gender disphoria; I enjoyed many feminine habits and targeted media and had lustful thoughts about a transition. I thought it nessesitated a whole transition rather than just enjoying what I like without needing to change myself.
The problem we face today is the application of the current masculine and feminine words on the opposing sex; it breaks down the very nature and purpose of said words over a (in a majority of cases,) mass-hysteria. See the cases of reported split personalities disorder to see this phenomena in a less controversial condition. When people are deeply unsure about a core part of their self, they are susceptible to possibly destructive practices to satiate that insecurity.
While there is a small subset of people who need a transition to treat a severe case of gender disphoria, changing all of human speech, (especially when "man" and "women" are often used to prescribe medication that wouldn't work on the other group,) isn't a good idea from my perspective.
I commend the attempted altruism in your advocacy, but all topics need debate to ensure no unforseen problems come from a promising idea. Look up the story about that Soviet Dam redirecting a lakes water to cotton farms.

In the modern case that is 21st century American politics, the colloquial semantics are fairly accurate however for 90-95% of the people you’ll speak too.
