I travelled over a dozen countries in the last 5 years with almost no money. Italy is the only one where people keep inviting me to be part of their lives. Picking mushrooms, harvesting olives, playing computer games, pray, go to the fun fair. Italy once ran the world and people have learned their lesson as a national consciousness, even tho the hustle is elsewhere now. In italy i never felt unsafe or unwanted.
