Thank you. Very very good explanation on covenants for those unaware of them ---both unborn again Jews and gentiles. From Akron, OH and Highland Park, IL.
He quoted 2nd Samuel 7: 12-13, and this settles the question on whether it'd be The Jews or The Messiah who build The Temple, these verses explicitly state who God says will build His Temple, The Seed Of David!
Mr. Rosenthal: It’s written in Revelation 20:4: “And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgement was committed to them. (I picture here specifically appointed Judges, sitting on thrones judging the people much like Moses did or Solomon did as we’re told in Luke 22:30: “And I bestow upon you (The 12 Disciples of Christ) a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”) Then the Rev. 20:4 continues: “And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And THEY lived and reigned with Christ for the thousand years.” Can you expound upon this?
This passage is describing the reign of the resurrected saints alongside Christ during the Millennium. The scriptures speak of those BY NAME who will partake in judging and reigning with Messiah in His Kingdom. The resurrected David will partake in this (Ezekiel 34:24; Jeremiah 30:9; Hosea 3:5). David at the end of his life states “…the Lord God of Israel chose me above all the house of my father to be KING over Israel FOREVER…” (1 Chronicles 28:4) “Forever” ultimately points to the resurrection, when David will once again reign over Israel. The only way one could truly reign forever is in the resurrection. Of course, the Apostles will be civil governors over the twelve tribes (Matthew 19:28). They are likely the “princes” mentioned in Ezekiel 45:8, in which the context is the Millenial Kingdom. These princes are said to be the ones who will divide the land of Israel between the twelve tribes.
AMEN❤
