He's not a bad drummer for his age but if I was playing wit Thomas I personally would have focused more on staying in the pocket and musically progressing the Jam gradually. That's the essence of a Jam. Build upon each playing in a groove by signaling slight changes in somewhat obvious ways rather than trying to show off. Rookie mistake he probably shreds these days.

Can someone explain to me what all the rage on the drummer is about? I thought he did pretty well.

You should try and push it while you're improvising and try to go beyond what you think you can do, so what if he messed up....sometimes while jamming you can visualize what you want to do next weather it be a riff or a fill or whatever and then you try to execute it and you mess up. Whatever, its not like Thomas has ever messed up in his entire life...
i dont know why everyones all over the drummers ass... i mean really i couldnt do anything and watch thomas at the same time considering how godly he is... i mean talk about a distraction XD

The drummer needs to learn to read other people rather than just constantly lead and hope. This could've been way better if he just set whatever false ego aside.
He's playing the same pattern over and over again, this is a taught drummer, not a self-taught drummer, he can't flow with the guitar he just plays random shit.
I'm not sure what i'm more jealous of, the fact that you got to jam with Thomas Erak, or the fact that you took a class called Advanced Rock Band.
