    Love these got 3 of the GEB maturing kegs. Easily reused as mention, and saves a lot of time on bottling day.

    Ive been doing this for quite a while now. I prime with 16g priming sugar. i normally do 3 kegs and put the rest in bottles, this way it gives you a good indication if its ready without the need to pop a full keg. Not sure how long the beer lasts but mine don't normally last more than a week. Be quick screwing the gas canister in to prevent losing too much gas. Cracking bit of kit.

    If you have a beer engine, the top of the mini keg can easily be removed (after venting) and a line can be put inside. Obviously keeping it off the sediment in the bottom. Effectively using it as a mini cask. I find it gives a nicer pour than the built in tap on a mini keg.

      Do you mean you use this with a beer dispenser? I'm doing this for the first time in the coming days.

      @@MartinMeany A beer engine. So a 'hand pull' as would be seen in a pub serving cask ales.

    Can you reuse the bungs? Do you just slot the piece you push through back into it?

    There is another CO2 device by Fass Frisch which doesnt have the dispenser. For use with the kegs with the integral tap. Would you be able to act as a distributor for those. E40 delivery from Germany!

    Could you add the link for vent cap for those black or shiny steel kegs, please? I can not find them in your shop.

    Do you still need to prime the beer in the keg if you use the tap with C02 cartridges?

    • @Geterbrewed
      @Geterbrewed  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can use just cartridges only issue is it could take 5 or 6 to fully carb

    I’ve a few of the 5L barrels, any tips on how to stop them rusting inside when they’re not in use for a while after cleaning? I’ve dried them out as best I could but still end up with signs of rust inside at the seams

      I'd suggest pbw or chemipro wash to remove this
