yea the game is so unoptimized, theres still plenty of things to fix and the devs just completely ignore it. like for example in 2 or 3 maps the dummies dont even spawn on the map, and yeah dse probably wasnt intended. they tried patching flinging but failed, and they still havent fixed knights counter...
well in some games there are things aren’t intended like the hunters grasp tech from tsb. At the end of the day, people just find things that aren’t supposed to exist in the game.
@@shimakorosu yeah i dont really know but the best explanation is that they see thats its fair and not game breaking and they just implement them into the game
@@darkp3gasuz They're just lazy and don't want to find a way to fix it tbh. And assuming that most of the community will leave the game if they see that their tod with every character near ledge get patched it's really understandable that they don't patch it.
I dont know why the devs just refuse to fix knight's counter. Its such an easy fix, and they still won't fix it. As for dse, dse shouldn't exist to begin with. Its literally just more damage for almost no effort once you get the hang of it. Also im not sure what you mean by "the game is so unoptiomized." If you're refering to fps issues, i think thats just a device issue because my game runs, and plays just fine. But yea they should just add a low performance mode for those who have fps issues.
Ever since I think wizard, it’s been referenced characters after another. Wraith being Vergil, Demon being Dante, reaper from rwby, hero from homelander, and probably a few more and it makes me kinda miss the og characters a bit
@@Holonerd12879 Yea i feel like they're running low on ideas. I don't mind the new characters being based off something, but man oh man it was much more fun to see what the devs are cooking up when it was original, and stuff y'know?
Hero has a generic superman power set, its not homelander specifically. So far, the only reference chars are dante, vergil, ruby, and ryu/akuma (gambler only references hakari's music, so im not counting him). Still plenty of original characters they cooked up, half of the new chars in B tier are original.
You could ramble on with bugs but the game devs are still gonna focus on adding new characters to try to take your eyes off the bugs and on the new flashy character. I hope that when they start to run out of character ideas they will just start to fix the game with balance changes and what not. Like golem being unplayable in ranked. Knight, kraken, samurai, archer flings. Accelerating to the void during a map change. Accelerating to the void via hero laser shown in the video Fixing end lag on counters where you aren’t stuck there for an eternity. Auto spikes Unbalanced characters. Teaming. Clipping into walls via map change. Clipping into walls via hero grab making your character slide a little. Breaking maps via bugs. Golem bug making itself invincible but also unable to move. Another bug with golem being unable to touch it because it still has its 3 hit box infront of them. Bloxstrap users breaking people with boxer reset. Same users getting free kills. Same users becoming immortal. And this is only scratching the surface of bugs/common complaints.
Honestly I likes the game when it was much smaller and not known as much because they actually made their own characters. I don’t mind the new fighters that are based on other characters, but it just feel like they running out of ideas
I wonder how project smash would be if they never changed the downslam arch during the cyborg update. As for DSE I think the devs decided to keep it cuz I remember in one of the update logs they decided to nerf it at high percentages instead of removing it
Yea no problem. Originally I was going to make the knight counter section about how it can fail for no reason. And while looking through the bug reports channel I found your footage about a completely different bug related to two characters. Killed 2 birds with one stone.
I mained knight, it was a good character for my playstyle, but then the updates came. The samurai were easy to deal with, but the newer ones? Hell nah, I dropped the game
There are even more stupid autospikes like kraken and gambler, and superdashing exists. To be fair the devs did say that superdashing wasn't a problem and they weren't going to patch it unless it became a problem, but the superdash uppercut tech that Aki just discovered literally allows air combos to exist. The devs did base the game off smash Bros though, so they probably aren't going to remove air combos.
This isn’t even covering visual bugs (which you can get banned for), their god awful teleportation system, their glitchy hit registration (at best), frame glitching, lowering ping which can give some an advantage, the list goes on.
Imo they shouldnt remove dse. Sure its free damage but it allows low damage characters or characters with bad combos to have decent damage. Sure it can be broken but its become a core part of combos and say what you will but most combos wont work without it.
@@Carnivex. I agree to an extent. I feel like a way to balance dse is remove the ability to dse for some characters. (Still stupid that bandit is literally the only character you cant dse with.) But yea, some characters do need dse to deal good damage, while others don't really need it.
@@craxel3356 You can say that about every character, hence why i didn't mention "game is broken because character op" if theres an actual issue (Samurai tod or literally any bugs) then i'll mention it.
