I must admit I was delighted when they announced their engagement. A little more dilution to the stuffy and close family ties of this particular family. Dianna, then Kate and now Meghan brought a much needed breath of fresh air.
Unfortunately I now feel that her prowess as an actor is coming to the fore. Her complaint that no one asked how SHE was, seemed very pitiful and highlighted her need to be , if not centre of attention, certainly at the forefront.
Whilst she was the centre during the build up to the wedding and for a short while after, she appeared to thrive under the constant media attention, providing it was positive. As her newsworthiness diminished, she saw the need to announce her pregnancy at a very early stage (9 months before the birth)! Why? Perhaps feeling overshadowed by Princess Eugenie’s wedding and Kate’s constant media draw.
I really do wish them well in their endeavours to carve out an independent life for themselves. Unfortunately I feel it is wishful thinking. All or nothing at All.

You judge a person by the patterns in their life that they repeat. Meghan destroyed her own family. She has completely disowned them because they weren't on par with her. She threw to the waste her ex husband after she had no need for him anymore. Harry is her ticket to big $$ and massive US media attention. TV shows, talk shows, reality TV....Harry is living in his now moment and not thinking about the consequences of his choices. As an adult he can make choices but he must also assume the consequences of those choices. I give them at best 2 years after this. They will be separated, will get divorced and he will come back to the UK. He will do a big prime time interview where he will apologize to the British people, his grandmother, his brother and the rest of his family. Unfortunately Harry has already burned bridges that will be very difficult to rebuilt. I hope he knows that and he can live with that.

The problem is that Meghan has finally convinced Harry to get a life and MOVE THE HELL AWAY and start anew somewhere else because he WILL NEVER be next in line to be a King. Even if Prince Charles became a King tomorrow then died a few days later, it would automatically be Prince William who would eventually get to be King. THEN William's son. Harry has NEVER denied that James is his father- I'm guessing for out of respect for his mother. I just don't think it is an issue all these years later- perhaps a couple things now circulating on the internet is true- maybe Harry and Meghan are planning to tell the truth about this, who knows.

@@Canuck13 thanks Debi very interesting and quite right. No one in Britain including if i may presume the Queen, expects Canada to pay a thing towards them. Its their choice to be financially independent. She is self aggrandising trash but as far as Harry is concerned as an ex soldier he has a good sense of duty and so his attitude to the Queen and lack of loyalty shown to the Crown and his rank and titles is incredibly upsetting for most people here.
