It's interesting to see how a newbie like tecno is doing well 'neck to neck' in the smartphone industry, Samsung has come a long way since 1989 and its no surprising that they have one of the best Android smartphone on the market that most iPhone's don't come close and pushing to do more. I will say, for Samsung, that is how it's supposed to be, for tecno, being new but not too far behind is a good job.
As a tecno user i can say that tecno is improving but they are far much behind samsung, talk of the annoying ads late software updates mono speaker no ip rating yees its cheaper than samsung but talk of ip rating stereo speakers 3yrs of Android update and 5yrs of software support alone justify the price and by the way if given chance to choose 90% will go with the Samsung

I am no rich for phones, but i am rich for headphones & jbl speakers..lol, so i never had the chance to explore trendy phones. But My people...if you have used an amoled display you will never pray to use anything else lower. It has it cons: burn-in and ink comes out in dot or line on some amoled displays.....you might know someone or have seen someone with that problem. Then the resolution & graphics of samsung especially the dark mode...we all know amoled performs like Oled, that mean you have a better black & richer balanced colours. I can go on talking about the built Quality of samsung.....like, we all know. I will rather buy the samsung or add some bucks to grab an iPhone 12pro But the phantom from tecno isn't a bad series anyways, they are the only series i double check on tecno phones. Thank u Samsung isn't chasing tecno....they are chasing iphone.

I'm sorry but they A53 is the winner to me and that's why it's more expensive. The selfie camera on the Samsung is much better than that of the Tecno, even the main camera too. The only thing that was better on the Tecno was the night mode.
A lot of thing is not okay that you said, first is design, how can you even give it to tecno, with that disastrous look, again Is camera; the portrait.... The tecno is Wack on portrait but when it comes to low light/dark mode, it was very good.... The only place, the tecno was actually better in the video.... When playing game with both devices, the battery of tecno runs faster and again it get heated easier so, the Samsung is by far, better in gaming...... Personal experience..... For me, this Tecno should be compared with Samsung A13pro and NOT A53.

Apart from the features you mentioned where the Samsung is better..First let's be honest when it comes to software and stability and or updates Samsung blows tecno away.. it's not even close... now looking at that camera even a blind man can tell that the Samsung A53 is clear of the Tecno Camon 19.. talk about the front camera of both device Samsung blows it away as it shoots 4k@30fps but you didn't mention that.. then again you couldn't mention the IP67 water and dust rating of the Samsung galaxy A53 which you can take swimming anytime.. now it only takes me around 1hr15mins to charge my A73 5G from 0-100% with the original Samsung 25W charger that I got for N15,000 not 2hrs please... and that tecno design is too ugly abeg.. with 4yrs of software update and 5yrs of security update on the Samsung. And you know Exynos 1280 will get better with time.. These are why you're paying more for the Samsung...
Can you try watching the video to the end? Apart from IP67 water and dust resistant, I don't think I missed out on anything. The Samsung device is better in some ways as I stated in the video but I don't think it's worth the extra cash that Samsung is charging. Take note, A73 is way different phone than A53.
