@@jad43701I didn't think they even still allowed for intergender matches anymore. They're allowed to have like a female on female and a male on male tag-team, but the women are not allowed to wrestle the guys. Yet they're allowed to do the same training the guys do and they're usually present when the guys train for the pro scene.
3:37 I lost. The way dijak landed on his leg gave me PTSD, I broke my tibia and fibula on August 1st 2021 and had surgery. I broke my tibia and fibula from doing a standing full next to a fire pit in my backyard and my left leg landed on the pit and it snapped, watching anything with legs is ominous to me
You know, when I was 13 or 14, I'd probably like this shit. Now as a 31 year old, all I think about is how there's probably no story or pacing in these matches. Time flies when your tastes change.
@@chrisfaust2035A lot of the Japanese wrestlers are respected. Unfortunately on the women's side, I've learned more recently that the women's side are not a WE thing but more or less a ME thing and trying to impress someone, like a higher-up boss or or a Senpai (someone elder but still in the same age group and who is someone they'd look up to), so there's always that added impact for the women's side. There's also obviously a big thing of the shoot style in Japan still, where if you are in a match and you botch a few moves, they may just start stiffing you and beating you up for that.
That spot at about 3:50... G-Raver was seconds away from bleeding to death! He left wrestling for about a year and 4 months. The scar is fucking gnarly!
Wait. I know I have not been watching wrestling for some years but men and women fighting against each other in a same match. What is going on? This is crazy and hell entertaining.
Everytime I tell myself "I wanna be a wrestler in the future" I always see these videos and worry that this is everything in the independent scene, and I won't make it out alive.
"So, we want to have you thrown off the top rope and onto a table." "Is that dangerous." "Only if you miss the table." "Okay, I won't miss the table then. How much you paying me?" "How does a hundred bucks and two hot dogs sound?" "Those hot dogs include buns and mustard?" "Yea. No sauerkraut though. This ain't WWE."
Lol those commentators. Keeping it real always made me laugh. If I ever decided on not wanting to do police work anymore and decided something equally dangerous, I wouldn't mind trying my hands at pro wrestling. As long as I made my way up the promotion ranks.
they just need to listen to anyone who ever really made it big. because other than foley, funk and maybe moxley, no one has ever made it big big with uv wrestling.
but because the fall was so bad or because its kurt? honest question, cause while i feel his fall was pretty nasty, we have all seen worse. but its kurt, and i know kurt was already on the edge healthwise back then, so i feel i wince because its kurt, not necessarily because of that particular bump, just kurt taking that bump.
@Bronco Balboa not everything is about whether or not you've seen something worse. Some things catch you off guard, it's the sound the moment itself or maybe who took the bump.
I love a good hardcore/deathmatch contest as much as the next guy but Joey Janela's flaming superkick spot made me chuckle from how stupid it looked, fire ain't a good worker, it's always gonna go into business for itself.
True. Just something about that. If I ever were to not want to be a policeman anymore and wanted to do something slightly less dangerous, I'd definitely try my hand at pro wrestling. I'm a green belt in judo and karate with over a decade of training (albeit I stopped training full time when I was 17) and so I would know how to throw someone and be thrown and know how to take a throw. It's definitely looks like fun and good cardio in there.
So much glass and thumbtacks, but it's the awkward falls that really make me shiver. 5:22 My brother, that is a fast way to compress your spine to the breaking point. That energy dispersion was AWFUL.
These guys are risking their own health and others for 50 dollars and 75 people watching. I went to a lot of independent wrestling in the 90s… They didn’t have to do any of this.
Holy Shit !!! THis is the Worst ( Greatest ) episode ever !!! I was rewinding and watching moves over and over and over again !!! Gotta say the ladder spots are the scariest to me because I work with ladders and "I KNOW about them"
Bojack is a local worker here in SC and NC. In my opinion not that good. Granted he clipped White Mike with his leg but yeah. It was a little dumb to have won off of that.
Imagine having a spot involving fire and not having no fire extinguishers nearby lol
GCW couldn’t afford the fire extinguishers after they paid Nick Gage’s crack dealer
And yet he talks shit about people doing crazy bumps and spots. Smh.
So foley and edge
Someone call 9-1-1!
Imagine living in the modern era and not speaking proper English.
Kurt going over the ropes and that last one, damn.
@Rohan Ladha and?
They also called him Curt Hennig lol.
He was on hella Percocets during his TNA stint. Kurt probably didn’t feel that fall at all.
No wonder he was Perc Angle during that period.
Angle falling from that ladder with all his back and neck injuries? Dam that could finish him
Would assume GCW makes it's fans sign a waiver saying "if you get injured at our show, that's a you problem" 🤣🤣🤣
Props to 2 Cold Scorpio checking on Allie Katch after that landing. He could tell her mouth was messed up. Good looking out.
He's an awesome guy
That was Scorpio ? Dear Lord he has let himself go. But still, props on him for checking on Allie after the match was over.

Both

That tiger driver on the chairs on the floor at 1:06 was just irresponsible.
To me it looks like it was executed very well and the most impact was taken by the guy who preformed the move
The one who lit his boot on fire and super kicked that guy must’ve thought he was sanji 😂😂 that man literally did a real life diable jambe 😂😂
3:53 G Raver with the bad artery slice
how do you take that first bump and not sell? Perplexing. Girl gets suplexed of the top into chairs and is looking around like she lost her keys

Me: Yeah, that wouldn't have helped one bit.
It actually does slow the impact from a long fall, not by a lot tho
How is Jack Evans still walking?
Because he is high as fuck
Intestinal fortitude
What match is 3:50 from? It looks like he started bleeding pretty badly after that.
GCW ladder WAR
I love how the guy got hurricanrana'd onto a chair, got his hair out of his face, then went back to selling

@@luther1546 Seriously, if you're gonna work fire into a spot, just stick to either flaming tables or some shiek styled fireballs.
I don't think Janela thought the fire would be that hard to put out I mean I've seen lighter fluid spots before and most go out on their own
@@dylanconnelly9845 Might be down to the amount of fluid he used, like he put too much on his foot and therefore it had more fluid to burn off.

Jack Evans? Yes, he's been wrestling for almost 20 years.

I had no problem not looking away on the first clip.
The announcers are killing me lol
The guy who went from the top of the cage dislocated his arm at like 5:40 the guy who got put through the table
I swear GCW and some of the other small independent wrestlers are TRYING to unalive themselves
CZW is absolutely nuts
This was an especially brutal one
