Points wise you get about 3000 to 5000 for fixing each building at your farm... Once you fix entire farm you get 20,000 more points... Not to mention you can go to hardware store (hammer icon on map) just to the north and buy new roofing and wood and plaster... Make it all new. Also if I’m not mistaken while you have the scaffolding held up you press E to pick it up.
I set up a scaffold by the door of the green house and went on the roof to shoot metal . I had finished the inside and opened the top windows . Well ... I fell through an open window down inside the greenhouse . Scaffolding was blocking the door and I ( after a very long time trying to get out as Oliver sat on that rock ) Died . LOL I am still new to playing this but it is very fun and relaxing like House Flipper .

Yes you can paint your equipment in the shed your fuel for equipment is I've got a video of how to paint it but it cost 500 dollars to paint once so I'd wait till a little later game! Dont forget to do quests and jobs for neighbors for money and social points!
There is a store where you can buy new materials to make it new. Interior walls of the house are a pain... You have to buy scratch coat. Finish Coat. which will leave them grey. Then buy plaster with your choice of color. 3 Different products just to finish one wall. Not to mention it will take 4 of each of the 3 to do just the house... There is alot to building in this game

doing the Green house in metal is good boost crop bones and will stay like that for ever :-)
