GREAT track Corner texturing Boone, that's what I needed to KEEP these " 🤑EXPENSIVE 🤑" cars on the track and OFF the FLOOR! Looking forward to the NEXT Adventure in track texturing, landscaping, buildings, stands, signs etc, etc, etc!
Thank you, the camera had a little issue picking up on color difference on the aged iron . Wish I could just say to everyone “ come on over and I’ll show you in person “,,, 😂….and have a Merry Christmas too
I like it a lot Boone great job I think some dark black road snake repair spots would add realism. Have a merry Christmas my friend to you and your family.
Great inspiration from your work! The volume of the montages in the end is much louder then the rest of the video. Would like to see some racing on the track too. Merry Christmas!
Your videos are awesome. I was wondering to get a better white edge line could you do it first then tape it over before doing the rest of the painting.
You probably have more fun building than racing. That’s me when I’m building a custom RC.. after it’s built, the fun is mostly over. Do you race as much as you customize?
No… lately I’ve just been building… 😂… between the layout , TH-cam, and the resin slot car bodies I design… my actual racing time is very limited. But I agree… I enjoy the creativity side of the hobby a little more
@@BoonesSlotCarGarage so are you designing and selling resin race bodies now? Guess I need to check your site. Congrats to you man.. you gonna get a 3D resin? I mean the quality isn’t perfect but you can start decent and finish nicely.
@@colossalbigfoot256 yes , I have been working with Arthur Acevedo out of California. I’m doing the design work of the bodies and he is in charge of the casting of the resin bodies. We have a page on Facebook called A and B Slots
What brand 1/4” masking tape do you use? I bought some online and am not happy with the edges. The edges seem a little frayed and I’m concerned it won’t leave a clean edge when I paint. Am I overthinking and trying to make it too perfect?
I notice in a couple videos that you are wearing two long sleeve articles of clothing, but your hand is bare. That tells me it’s a bit chilly without being uncomfortably cold. Does the temperature ever affect your hand dexterity? I surf and generally wear a full suit without gloves during the winter months. I’ve learned that when I can’t touch my ring finger with my pinky, it’s time to get out. 😂
Up in Washington the winter gets pretty cold at times. In the garage I would use a radiant space heater to keep me somewhat warm. My hands have seen their share of abuse with all the years of auto body and painting. Trigger thumb, a bit of carpal tunnel, ya the old hands have seen better days 😂. They act up every so often in the cold , but hope to cure that a bit now that we are in Texas. Definitely is a better climate for the body’s joints 😂
Great video and attention to the detail....looking forward to what you show us next...

Thanks Ricky… I might be playing around with some Carrera track in the future…

Thank you Stephen, yes you could do that, it might create an edge , but it would be very slight
