An endless procession of glittering, toothsome and drool worthy wrist candy. Can’t really call a winner or add to this selection. Franck Muller crazy color dreams indeed!
Patek 5470P. A 2-register mono-pusher chronograph, blue dial and strap with red stitching, red chronograph hand and minute markers, Breguet numerals, 41mm. Very wearable, not very affordable: £400k.
Not done with Rolex yet. A Day-Date 40 and a.precious metal daytona are needed before I look at Patek etc. Mind you, that might all change when Watches & Wonders comes round
for the patek, i would have gone for the 5326g, a super elegant, but casual, practical time piece to use as a "beater", thanks to it being somewhat under the radar. Royal Oak, I would have gone for the openwork black ceramic, since you already went for the gold and green VC. A collection needs varieties to cover all the bases.
You should buy the "Paul Newman" watch if it comes up again at auction.
Oh yea, goid luck for that.😅😅😅
yes please
I agree, the Patek 5396R-011 is a hit. However, I would go for the white gold version with a black leather strap which is no longer in production (5396G-011). To me, this is the quintessence of a classy timepiece.
The VC are JLC are both stunners to my eyes, but a great list of high heurology brands. Honestly, I’d be delighted with any of them, there were no bad choices.
I can feel this "sickness" 😝
Nice video! and the Breguet Tourbillon amazing choice I love it
For me, it's totally out of my aesthetic and far outside my budget (I'm more of an oyster perpetual, old school seamaster type of guy) but the Vacheron Constantin cverseas chronograph Everest would be my ultimate sports watch. It's just so damn cool.
Oisin: I have a nice (decades in making) collection. But your "dream" choices here superb. You now this stuff - you know style - you know class. My next will be rectangular (JLC Reverso is super but a little pricey for me at moment.) Or Cartier tank of course. But looking at (dis--continued) "sector dial" Longines "Dolce Vita" (blued hands - simple dial - blue croc strap.)
Not in this class - but not bad & a little off beaten path. As for your choices I like the first JLC Reverso (rose gold - duo-face) best - the V-C green dial (GMT). Only the Brequet rubs me a bit wrong way - all other selections I can't find fault with.
Good Show a always! (Your back, baby!)
Great choice of watchs. Patek for me
A. Lange and Sohne Datograph for me 👌🏻 👍🏻
I love AP but that reverso is gorgeous and the price 👍
well done, I laughed too
AP grand sonnerie carillon super sonnerie 11.59
Oisin, that Reverso is just stunning and leaves the rest for dead, except the timeless Calatrava which I'd just have without the fancy bits and will still look as beautiful in a million years time. Enjoyed this 👍
Masterworks charges 1.5% annual management fee, 20% profit share on sale, and a hidden fee average 11% up front on the purchase/investment. Their track record is 5 years long. Also, because art is not a regulated investment, they are not regulated by the SEC or FINRA. Investor beware
Nice watches. I would go for a Moser Endeavour Vantablack.
Amazing list!
Ground control to Major O'Malley...!
With that sound effect I keep expecting to hear Lenny.
My current Dream Grail is a 38mm AP Chronograph in any metal ❤
Such a way with words
Outstanding choices. I lust after a JLC Ultra Thin but don’t have the attire or functions to justify it. Wasted in a workplace!
Reglamento uno amigo 😅
Please check Voutilainen Vingt-8 with brown dial. It is my grail watch.
Very solid list
JLC ultra thin would be my choice. Plus the VC..
JLC Reverso, Glashütte Senator Excellence Perpetual Calendar, Glashütte Pano Matic Lunar, Patek 5320G.❤
Shouldn´t LANGE be on that list?
3 min into the video - is at all one long ad?
Where to start? No need to change the list, it’ll do me fine.
I would say that the VC Overseas is my favourite & money no object, start collecting all the others after securing the Overseas.
Excellent video.
That JLC, then Ebel perpetual calendar in gold and Eberhard Oldflyer in gold. 👌🏻
Nice , too much dial perhaps, but beautiful
@ Thanks, all high horology. Ebel in some time, hopefully under new ownership it will be in the top again.
the eberhard oldflyer is a nice little piece. I wore it at my wedding, and in 20 years the gold developed a nice patina that makes it even nicer
@@marcobrondani Happy to hear that story :) I saw one, new old stock for 8K EUR. Amazing looking watch.
Now time for a walkabout.
Good choices. Patek and Reverso for my favorites of your picks. For me I would go for an MB&F Sequential Flyback Chronograph. Good work! Keep it up and thanks.
For the speedy I would go for the soyuz meteorite dial if I find one in perfect condition. To till now no other watch has as beautiful meteorite dial.
Correct.
Reverso Tribute
I have the 5396R-014 (Blue dial, rose gold) and I absolutely love it.
Man , you are top notch when you stick to watch talk . Good video
I'm also top notch when i talk about other things. You just can't handle it. 😎
Thin-skinned MAGA man has entered the chat…..
Trump watch fan maybe?😆
@@Thisonegoestoeleven666 that's an example of why people should stick to what they're good at.
@ Indeed…If the hat fits sir.
They were all incredible….thanks 🙏👊
Gold Sub. Oh, you sold it
wearing it on watch fashion police show tonight. Poor baby. Feel so bad for you.
2 JLC in the list, 100% agree. And the VC gold/green. wow
If money were no object, there is ony one watch I'd be after and its not really compatible with my lifestyle,it is theJLC Reverso original in steel,I love it both for its design and for its impracticality for me..............................................
Dutch Tulips...
I could listen to you forever. Great voice. I love the VC rose gold w green dial too. Think AD discount possible?
For that particular one? Doubtful. I think that's a waitlist piece. But there are a few on chrono24 for a little under retail.
I love the black dial dual time VC.
Fab list of gorgeous watches. The JLC was the one for me. I was surprised to see one of my all time favourites in there...The PP 5396R . I have had this watch and it is stunning, but at 38.5 mm I thought it wouldn't have been your thing. PP 5740G is way up on my list.
Great explanation why not to settle for a $500 Chinese tourbillon, because a watch is more than its movement.
Too many people resemble magpies, always after the shiny, blingy watches. What happened to discretion, class, understatement.
he said to the guy who just showed Breguet, two JLC,s and zero rolex. 😆
Moser does some stunners but that speedy was the one.
No1: the yuppy watch
All great watches. The Hublot Classic Aerofusion Gold Chronograph is at least as amazing as that AP imo.
If money were no object I'd buy the Grand Seiko Kodo Constant Force Turbillon which in my opinion is a candidate for the greatest watch ever made, the Vacheron Constantin Overseas Tourbillon Skeleton Titanium which might be the most beautiful watch I've ever seen and maybe the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak QEII an absolute stunner. Add in the Crefor Eichi ii and I'm good to go.
I made the mistake of trying a $130 light weight titanium Boderry field watch as a beater and for golfing but it doesn't feel quite stylish enough. It also feels a bit small but the titanium is warmer during the winter. So my search for a titanium watch journey begins. I'm leaning towards an older Breitling Aerospace with a white dial. Then again, the white dial Speedmaster has my eye too. We'll see. Haha Thanks for the thought-provoking videos!
Goldwrister!😉
Good taste
X2
No lume on the reverso is a big NO from me
A Lange a Sohne is what I want.
Money no object? Roger Smith, Series 5 Open Dial from 2017.
VC overseas and an Aquanaut & I could die happy 😂
The Reverso Tribute is an absolute stunner
It is. But it’s far to freak show, Clown 🤡 Watch big in size. 50 Mm is ridiculously large almost what Flavor Fave from Public Enemy would have on his wrist to go with the clock ⏰ on his chest.
hate butterfly clasps
You're not the only one that's depressed
I was looking at channels dealing with vintage Swiss watches this morning. There are some holy grail watches to find there. And they are more affordable than new watches from the same brand. I particularly like many of the vintage watches made in the 60s, 70s, and 80s by brands such as Vacheron Constantin, Cartier, Longines, Omega, and Rolex.
Nice selection but it really consists of the usual suspects, if you will. No interest in a H. Moser? MB&F? Czapek? A grail for me is an Armin Strom Equal Force. Amazing movement & stunning looking piece.
No interest in MB&F or Czapek. I have a small interest in Moser but i'd go FP Journe before that.
Fair enough.
My two next watches Breguet tradition retrograde date and a réveil du tsar.
The Breguet Roman Numerals falling either side of the dial and tourbillon, look like Angels 🪽 Wings 🪽 Gorgeous!
ps, ForgetRedShovel Calls it Londonderry..I So i am lead to Believe. I call it Derry..!
What about an H Moser? Too cheap?😂
I have broken two tourbillons wearing them while playing the harp. They were cheap Chinese flying turdillons, but I'm still doubtful, whether that complication is meant to be on my wrist.
What a magnificent collection of the finest timepieces! Certainly couldn’t argue against any of them. It’s nice to dream eh! Glad to see this affliction affects you too 😂
It’s a fun game, I think the Vacheron on the green rubber would be a contender and probably the most worn
I feel that any dial version of the JLC Reverso Duoface should be a part of a great collection. An amazing watch from a brand with a great legacy.
Would love to live in that world 🌎 I'm dreaming great picks 👌 😉 😂
Hey Oisin. Was wondering since you live over there. What are your thoughts on Venezianico? I just got the Arsenale which is their take on the integrated bracelet trend with a Cotes de Geneve dial, an ultra thin case and a beautiful engraving of the city's arsenale on the caseback. Truly incredible piece for 800 bucks
wow. You don't watch the channel much, do ya? 😂

Great content. Wrist Time is imperative. So 4 watches now. My next get is a white gold 16202. You ROCK Oisin. You have a great collection. 🥃
The last 5 are completely top notch lovliness.
Many great watches on your list but lets be honest, there are not anything new here,
I have own Omega, JLC and Rolex my self and yes PP, AP and VC makes great watches but with all the cash in the world come on,
Then you need to go independent.
There are so many in many pricerange that makes a produkt second to none in the same pricerange
I sold my main streambrands and got at custom build at a independent brand, it is a Dornbluth 99.1 try to read in on them and see what your money can buy there.
Or maybe go see Roger W Smith on Isle of man, he build watches out of this world in a way others only can dream about,
Nice video, but the watch world is so much when you turn away from the mainstream😊
The sickness is real and contagious 🤢
Reverso Tribute rose gold is the holiest of grails wow
Vacheron 222 for me please
VC all day long
Oisin money no object has to be a Philippe Dufour simplicity .
All of these luscious pieces are beyond my reach. But if I had the bucks it would be the platinum Speedy without question.
It would have to be the Reverso for me , the Brequet Heritage is very cool as well . Though mainly a diver guy , I feel the urge to get more delicate , intricate watches next .
Great list! 😊
Thought the old Working Class Northsider might have Sneaked a Grand Seiko in there..for Nostalga..!
The gold reverso dual face chronograph is the one for me.
There's always another grail to lust over!
Yes. There are worse hobbies to have. Vintage watch shows also have amazing watches from the past.
If money were no object then nothing would be special. Everything would be boring and unsatisfying.
The watches you've had..... and the ones you still have... enough for ten lifetimes honestly... we will never be cured of the watch disease
The Calatrava is beautiful as well as the JLC .
Both are amazing
Love the channel love it when you talk Grails
No Lange & Söhne?
All fine and dandy Oisin, however can we introduce also the notion of the 'low grail'? Many options here, not only Seiko ! I call this the GADAG ... the go anywhere do anything grail .... for wearing outside ... safely .....? 😊
Yes it’s a sickness and an addiction, but it’s one that is not going to kill you.
The wife might 😂
@@leemartin2978 🤣🤣🤣very true
Amazing watches covered. Works of art in and of themselves. Great video. Well done.
AP
Great Video Mate, Oh man i think you need to make a video about what an actual Illness this watch collecting is, i have over 20 pieces and cant stop! God help us All .....😵💫
I dislike the concept of collecting, especially watches. Having 20 means that you have 19 that you're not wearing at any particular time. What a waste. Just pick one watch that you really like, and learn to appreciate it on a daily basis. I bought my Datejust new 35 years ago and it's still with me now.
