Sounds like a vocal Tourette, I experienced and still do experience it til this day but it’s not even close to as extreme as this. Used to be caught humming back in elementary and making weird grunt noises cuz I had the URGE to just feel it. Like it soothed me and if I didn’t do it I’d feel like, idk, empty in ways until I fulfilled it

We just explain it away by say they're "touched", "slow", "special", "delayed" or just different. I'm ADHD and had some other obvious issues. I didn't get a diagnoses until I was out of my parents house because according to them, there was nothing wrong with me. 🤷🏽♀️. We just have a diff way of handling stuff like this because historically, we didn't have medical access
