First off, RIP Tom. KLASSIC 78' gave every KISS fan what we had all been craving. KISS fans creating magic. So incredible. Our thought are with his family. That was a beautiful tribute. Thank you so very much for the kind words regarding the journal. I am beyond grateful. Thank you for your friendship, and support. Bless you both. Lastly, what an amazing tour book! Great episode. This was a lot of fun. As I've stated before, KISS ARMY THINGS is the future of this fandom. You all are carrying the torch in the most beautiful way possible. God speed my friends. Thanks again. Have a wonderful week.
So sorry to hear of Toms passing. I remember when klassik 78 hit the scene, i was blown away, really in the spirit of Kiss late 70's style. Best wishes to you both.
My condolences to Tom's family and friends and thoughts as well. I did listen to the KLASSIC '78 a little bit and it's so amazing it sounded so much like KISS! As we age, our favorites just pass away. It's sad and scary at the same time.
The show looks good to me. I am sorry to hear about Tom. My prayers go out for his family. The Elder is a great album, except for Ace. Lol. I listen to Kiss everyday. I played all of Kiss Alive on my guitar last night. Listening to Hot in the Shade in my car this morning. I went to the last Kiss concert at Madison Square Garden and sat next to Sebastian Bach. I have told you before how many Kiss concerts I have attended and been a part of over the years. So I don't need to repeat that. You had a great time in Indianapolis and Rosemont. You got some great stuff and talking to alot of people, that's what it is all about. Kiss is a family and you are a part of it. You cannot compare any Pay per view to any live concert. Those who are disappointed by the Kiss concert are nuts. I knew the other past members would not be there. I would have only wanted Bruce Kulick to be there. Exactly it would have ruined the flow of the show. It's Paul Stanley who makes the final decisions, Gene sometimes talks too much. Lol. Yes the kidney stone. I have had 3 in my life. I could tell Gene was not feeling very well on stage. I am very happy to give you both the Kiss Convention signed Tour Book. I didn't depart from it, it is for you to have and enjoy. Those who have should always give to others. Believe me that I have more Kiss in my life. 👍🤘🎸 Great Show as always!😊
At first I was like wow, why is the picture so fuzzy? I should of known...the KISS camera! Really sorry to hear about Tom from Klassic'78. So sad. I remember your craft episode, that was a good idea. Also, the video you all did together after the concert in Rosemont was very cool too. It is hard to believe that was a year ago. What an awesome gift that tour book is. WOW! Great video!
I had tix to that Knoxville show. We were heartbroken and shocked. I had seen em at least 25 x and I needed that last one. We had debated about going to ny before but decided on Knoxville cause it was closer. Still hurts. And I am a huge fan of Klassik 78’. Thank you Tom
My spotlight has been Klassik '78's Phantoms in memory of Tom. In my opinion that is not just a album honoring Kiss, but honoring Phantom of the Park. To me its like an extended or alternate soundtrack to that movie. I didn't get to see any of the final kiss shows in person, but I did swing by Rosemont and got a picture of the sign on the side of the arena. I did pick up bootlegs of Rosemont and new York on ebay and I agree that the ppv was lame. I think at the end of the show they could have gone silent then while Paul gives his final speech, they have a video montage of the kiss band members through the years, Neil bogart, and Bill Aucoin. Then a quick thank you to roadcrew, and fans. Then Paul ends it withe kiss remains, they disappear into the smoke and the avatars are shown. Fans seemed to have wanted a straight up tribute rather than the little hints of tribute like you mention like Eric's costume and drums. Tribute to the past, then announce the future. 11:27 .
@KISS Army Things We’ve got the upcoming EOTR 5 part documentary early 2025 which will chronicle the final year of the tour during 2023 so hopefully we’ll all get answers as to what was not represented on the final night in terms of what we were expecting including 50 years of KISSTORY being shown through a video package like they did during the millennium gig on New Year’s Eve 1999 at Vancouver’s BC Place Stadium
Indy definitely felt more loose, and there wasn't as much pressure as the NYC shows lol But I loved the recap video that KISS posted today of the last show 🔥
I only saw KISS 3 times. Being disabled, I can't travel and they didn't come to Rochester, NY much. In fact, I don't think they came to Rochester, NY for the End of the Road tour. The closest may have been Buffalo or Syracuse, way too far away for me. I'm so sad that I only saw them 3 times and not the very last time. I was in the hospital June and July 2023 so I was still recovering and pretty weak when they had their last show. I didn't even really know about it until it was over. I had got away from KISS from about a year before Eric Carr got sick to about a month or two after KISS' last show. I'm not into the avatar thing as I could never see it and it sounds like it'll be stationery, not touring cities after all. And to have to wait until 2027. Who knows if I will even be around then or if I hopefully am, if I will be homeless or even able to find or see it all. I'm so sad to see KISS is no longer around. I think that instead of selling out to Pophouse they should have recruited 4 new and younger members from the best of Tribute bands, like maybe given the keys to Mr. Speed to become KISS. I know it can never be Gene, Paul, Peter, Ace or Paul, Gene Tommy, Eric or whatever, but I would have been happy to see a new KISS made up of real people, and new KISS songs coming up on the horizon. After awhile the old stuff gets old for me. I would have loved to hear new music from KISS and see the characters performing, and someone who can nail being a frontman as good as Paul Stanley was! Paul Stanley is legendary. So anyway, I guess I got this out of my system. Thank you for a great podcast. We needed this!
Hi Jason! I don't think Tom had any podcasts, but I know he was featured on a few. He is known by the KISS Army as the creator of Klassik 78, a group that writes and records original music in the style of late 70s KISS 🤘
I don't like God Gave Rock And Roll To You because it sounds like a KISS funeral or ending song. I think wasn't it the last song Eric Carr played on? It just sounds sad to me for some reason, like the legends are dead and passing the memories on to the rest of us to remember them by. That they are gone forever. So for them to have played that with the Avatar demo, that just made me think KISS is done. KISS died. I admit I may still be in mourning. I hope that I will be pleasantly surprised in the future. But 2027 is so far away and who knows what will happen between then and now.
I think God Gave Rock & Roll To You was the last song Eric Carr sang on. But that's the beauty of that song is that even though he has passed he still lives on through the music forever, so will KISS. And KISS is certainly not dead ❤️ Did you see this video from Gene & Paul today? It was so great to hear from them! th-cam.com/users/shortsNV8J7u2riMM
@@kissarmythings Yeah, saw it on Facebook. Since I can't travel due to disability I am eager to see what the virtual end of things will be for KISS in the future. Looking forward to new things. I'm still flip flopping about the pophouse deal though. I see some good to it but then again I still have certain misgivings I'm trying to wrap my own head around. I hope that now is a good time to rekindle my passion for KISS. Been away since a year before Eric Carr passed. Been too long and then to be too sick to see them for the last time in concert so I missed the boat. But I did see them 3 times in concert in my earlier years so I have good memories! :)

RIP Tom. My condolences to his family and friends. This is a very touching tribute and a very awesome spot light on the album reviews.

Really happy for you guys, I also figured Paul would cancel all pre NYC shows. Feel awful for all fans who weren’t able to have a final show.

I watched the Indianapolis show and NY shows on TH-cam and I think I enjoyed the Indianapolis show more

Dont mean to be rude and im sorry for youre loss but was Tom a podcaster ?
