I have a plug n play by lifesmart- best thing ever. I put horse mats underneath and an extra cover over top- only 10 bucks a month to run. Also there are chlorine/bromine alternatives- we use simply sirona which is peroxide based and a mineral stick from amazon- no itchy skin, or chemical smells- these are just so much easier than a 240v!!!
I really appreciate your review on this. Been on the fence because just like you, it’s a big expense to buy online not knowing if it’s a good product that won’t be easy to return. This is an American company in Florida so that’s also a plus 🇺🇸
@@mattbrumbaugh4039 thanks! I’ve been waiting for our first snowfall at least before I do the winter update but I can tell you it is holding temp at 104 with no problems so far. I’ve only had it 6 months but so far so good
@@zharon7825 so far so good. I use it daily. We aren’t in winter yet but it’s below freezing in the mornings here and the tub has no problem staying at 104
Thanks for this video. You are really the only legit person to show this on youtube that isnt a company trying to sell it. The photo you show of you sitting down in it. It looks like it would fit 4 but definitely no room to spare. Also it seems like you are sitting up high despite sitting back in the seat. I was hoping you would sit lower and the water level be somewhere between your neck line and the nipple LOL. Just wish the seats were deeper in this case
@@Missminthehouse good question. I can’t hear it when I’m inside my house. Outside it sounds about as loud as a dishwasher running or dryer. Runs 15 minutes every couple hours in the winter.
@@thezcdman25 literally in it right now. It holds 104 with no problems. I have no reason to believe it won’t do they same in winter but I don’t know yet
@@DadHut thanks! I just picked up an old ar 500 and need to replace the pump but i am excited to see if it work otherwise. The nice thing about the 500 is it has a full length chaise chair.

@@tbagnick no, there is no settings to adjust. My only suggestion would be to clean the jets to make sure there is nothing blocking them. Also there is a “jet tool”. You could remove each jet and clean it. Maybe they are over tighten?
Had similar model. Great hot tub for a few years until mice got into it and chewed into the internals. Bummer. I do not know where to start with trying to investigate since the unit is one big once piece molding. How the hell do you service this thing ? Thinking of cutting the bottom out to figure out where the mice bit into the tubing.
I purchased this one about 7 months ago. ABSOLUTELY love it! Haven't had any issues at all.

So ready to order one from Amazon

So with the cover off with this now being winter how fast is the temp going down. 1 degree a half hour 1 degree a hour etc ? Thx
Nice Review 👍
@@socalifone3044 I’d say one degree ever 30 minutes. Not enough to even notice it
Great video! I am also in Idaho. Can you please do a update video on it's performance in winter and how it holds temp? Thanks!

Any updates? I have had this one for two months now. I would give it 4 stars for now.

How loud is it when the jets are off but it’s still on?!

@ would you the inflatable is quieter or louder? Thank you for responding. Much appreciated.
@ it’s little louder then an inflatable hot tub but very similar in noise

We have an inflatable and it lasted about 3 years. We are looking to replace. Maybe this is our next move.
@Dad I just bought the same tub off marketplace, is there some internal settings to play with? My jets are almost non existent when cranked up?
