Must say a huge THANK YOU! This is what I've been looking for..... Now I have a process that will allow me to draw with the apple pencil and ipad pro without having to do image trace and lose a bunch of detail.
you prolly dont care but if you're bored like me during the covid times then you can watch all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Been watching with my gf for the last months :)
thank you! tune in to this Wednesday's stream on Behance and here to see the new way to export vector from fresco to illustrator. behance.net/dacreativegenius
yes, that happens! watch out in applying different blend modes to your layers, the majority of blend modes will destroy your vector file. I stick with Multiply and Screen blend modes only, then export to Illustrator, then apply other blend modes to get the effects you want. ALSO: Export to illustrator fight from within Fresco, top right corner, the little square with an arrow. i hope this helps.
you're welcome! When you need an Ai file. when you want to make adjustments to the layout. When you want to add text. When you want to take advantage of the gradient tool. the reasons depend on your creative process and reason for creating.
Thank you for sharing! This has been helpful as I have a client who specifically wanted me to save my work as SVG files. I'm wondering how do you go about work that has multiple colors. Do you do the exact same thing? Or do you have to go through a different process?
Hey, have you found a way to simplify paths when exporting a pdf from Fresco to Illustrator? I find drawing in Fresco makes what would normally be a small file quite large because of the amount of anchor points. I’ve tried Object > Path > Simplify and other ways but can’t find a solution without destroying the image. Thanks.
@@cynthiaoudhnarine ah yes! Here it goes: 1. in Fresco, export your art as a PDF and save to Dropbox ( I use dropbox so I haven't tried any other cloud service). I have dropbox installed on my ipad, laptops and desktops. 2. On your Desktop, open Adobe Illustrator and then File>Open> Find the PDF you just saved. BAM! the file opens in Illustrator. I explain a lot of it at minute 12:30 of the video.
The process is actually less than 5 mins. These were the steps 4 years ago between Adobe Fresco and Adobe Illustrator. Now it is only one step. I have a newer video showing that new process.
YOU SAVED MY LIFE

thank you!
I'm new to this, b\ut I will be listening PLAYA!! I like your style.
get it!
Thanks! but, what about vector layer that is being clipping to another layer? Exporting to PDF does not retain the vectors :(
unfortunately PDF cant handle the blend modes as set in Fresco. I have that same problem.
After I tried it, my fresco file turned into a bitmap in Illustrator, even though I designed it using a vector brush.
can anyone help answer
yes, that happens!

thanks very much. for what reason should I bring my drawing from fresco to illustrator? any advantage?

The process is the same for any amount of colors. I only used this drawing as an example.
@@dacreativegenius Okay, thank you!

you cannot simplify in Fresco and yes it is a bit tough to simplify without changing the look. those are the sacrifices when drawing in Fresco.
Vector First Aid from Astute Graphics. Super smart remove -Test out the free trial and you will be hooked.
How do you do this on the ipad
define "this" so I can answer your question.
Vector Maestros send an illustration from fresco into illustrator on an ipad

This is helpful. But this is so much more of a pain compared to Adobe Draw. I don't understand why they would make the process more complicated.
It is a bit of a pain point. stay tuned for Fresco updates!
@@dacreativegenius Are they going to change the way Fresco exports?
@@Zerflin me? no. but Adobe.... maybe.
This doesn't work in affinity.
What part of “this”? I’ve created vectors in Affinity and exported as PDF then opened PDF in Illustrator, viola: vector art!
"In very simple steps"
Needs 17 minutes to explain it. What a clickbbait scammy title
