    nice review. I like the professionalism, lack of boring narration, and use of the drone using auto following. This is the first review I've seen where the EGO brand doesn't come out in a strong position. The BCX3800 doesn't appear to be available in the USA but it's on the European and Australian sites. I like the bicycle handle layout so this was right towards what I was looking to compare, even if I can't get it. (Apparently, I wouldn't want it anyways). Subscribing!

      Thanks for your comment Seth, I try to keep it to the point and interesting. BCX3800 was a huge disappointment to me as well. The Husqvarna and Echo were a big surprise and the Stihl was okay, but not surprising.

    Fair Review! Taller and Thicker Gas on Stihl side!! Quick change heads are best.

    Thank you very much for this video. It is the best I've found on ewtube for these machines. Here in Australia that Husqvana is a lot dearer than the Stihl. I've had an FS220 and FS280 for 20+ years and while the machines are good Stihl after-sales support is appalling. I will never buy anything Stihl again. Wondering if Husqvana is any better. Very mixed owners opinions on the Echo stuff.

      I am in Europe, I buy the Stihl 135 without realy knknowing if it with be good or not but because it use the same batteries for the Stihl chainsaws I already have.
      I have it for about 2 years never use the weed line even it come with, I use it very much only to clearing land feels witch have ticker and heavy brushes, so far it never give me any kind of problem. I have no idea about the other brands performance but today if I with need a second Trimmer I buy this one again.

      I am in Portugal but i buy mine the still in spain about 1 year ago and i pay 450 Euros but now i think it cost more. In regard to the batteries and charger i already have from the chainsaws, however here the AP500S is around 430 Euros and the charger 500 around 170 Euros. With mine 135 I am happy even the AP500 not last very long but it have plenty of power and performs well. I have used all kind blades no problem.

      Hola Jose, thank you for your comment. The Echo & Husqvarna can replace a 30-35cc brushcutter. Stihl had a strange feeling to me in the handles and the performance wasn't there.

    • @janh9030
      @janh9030 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JanMaesOutdoorTraining Echo says it replaces 25cc but in your video it looks pretty strong. Husqvarna is very interesting because of the button feed. A few days ago they launched the 525 IRXT. Thanks for your video👌🏼

    • @lokaniukas
      @lokaniukas ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@janh9030 it’s compared to Echo’s 25ccs those traditionally are the most powerful in that size. Probably that’s the real reason of equasion differences.
      As from motor-battery combos those battery brushcutters usually have 850-900W output power yet due to electric nature they’re a bit more productive than 0,9kW gas counterparts.

    Can you attest to the Stihl spinning clockwise and the others counterclockwise? I like to turn my trimmer on end and edge walking backwards with the debris shooting away from me. Seems like the Stihl would shoot the debris towards me?

      @@robertpage718 yes, you’re right. I checked mine and indeed it turn’s counterclockwise which is most logical. Could’ve swore that was not the case at the Stihl dealership when I was looking at it, but I must have been mistaken. Anyway, glad it works as it should!👍

    • @JanMaesOutdoorTraining
      @JanMaesOutdoorTraining  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Hello Maximilian, The Stihl was tested in the same field, in the same grass, only 2 weeks later, because it wasn't available. If you doubt my testing, I would say make some tests yourself. :) I don't fake tests. It took a long time to get that FSA135.

    • @wolfiemedia
      @wolfiemedia 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yeah, I agree - he was definitely biased against the Stihl. He clearly used it awkwardly, on the wrong angle (unlike the others) and dug it into the grass instead of hovering.

      The stihl is an arkward pos with either of the guards. Take them off and use a lower angle and its mint. The motors shit themselves after 10 seconds tho 😂

      @@dirk_krueger_baumkrueger7612 I use the 535irx for over a year now. I really like it. Specs seem more or less on par with my experience. The trimmer head seems to use a lot more power compared to the 3T blade... If you have 2 BLi300's you can swap use / charge them and keep going a really long time with the blade. With the trimmer you would ideally need a 3th battery or backpack accu...

    • @stijndw20
      @stijndw20 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eMRimas Yes it can. There is a sub-version that comes with a 3-bladed grass blade and a saw for small trees called the 535iFR. It does not include the line-head but it also has Bluetooth built in like the 535iRXT. Afaik you can swap all cutting tools to all sub-versions with only the automatic line-feed head being only usable on the 535iRXT because that one has an extra "line-feed" button on the control stick which the other models don't have.

    The string that Stihl products ship with is absolutely abhorrent. I have no clue why the choose to do their products such a disservice. We use Stihl exclusively at the college I work for. IMO, their products are probably the best in the game. You wouldn't know it if you only used the string they ship with, however; It's too light, stiff, and brittle. Terrible stuff.
