That is one tough meter. It was worth repairing.

I've owned one of these for a few years now and would have to say it's usually the one I grab for to make quick measurements. Glad to know it's safe even though mine will never see anything close to this

I would have no idea if any of these meters are safe or not, nor do I care. Any tests I run have nothing to do with safety. If you are concerned with safety, I suggest making sure your equipment has been certified independently to meet those standards.

Absolutely I agree with you. As I'm sure most people who check this channel out probably own at least one meter you tested and is interested in performance of said gear. I'm pretty sure that's why your channel is as popular as it is because it's not your friendly personality. That being said it's interesting to know because most people won't subject their tools they use daily to this kind of thing and I appreciate you for making the data public.

Also I heard you say about the gossin latching relays could get someone killed so obviously safety comes into play with the tests you performed wether or not you intend it.

Do you think the difference in price between the 101 and 107 is worth it?

    • @joesmith-je3tq

I think the question is really do you think it's worth it. I don't normally offer recommendations.
