I will say there are some surprisingly low logoman sales for major stars in baseball though, which is why I didn’t immediately fire off that 10k valuation. Plus baseball collectors don’t always love booklets the same way nba/nfl collectors do. So many things go into guessing what a card like this will sell for, I hope this thing gets auctioned so we can see where it ends up price wise!

Remember when people use to buy and open their own packs. Hobby is in a weird spot with all the "breakers" scalping all good products and then re selling for higher.

Not everyone can drop $2k or more on a box. Breaks are still an awesome way to collect, especially if you’re a team collector. As long as you do like 5 minutes of research to make sure you’re not getting ripped off price-wise it’s no different than rolling the dice on a $100ish box of some shit product where you’ll probably also skunk. And prior to the boom, breaks were BY FAR the most economical way to collect aside from only buying singles and not ripping any product at all.
