Fun fact: If you were born in Adelaide between 1992 and 1998 there is 70% chance your dad is Tony Modra

Mick Martyn still has Modra's knee indentation in his back to this very day. All he needs is for Modra to sign his back coz he basically owns it!

Special thanks to Mick Martyn, for featuring as Mods's stepladder for almost the whole video.

I'm a Pies fan and the rest of my family are Port and we loved Modra so much that when he was due to kick his 100th against Fitzroy at Princess Park we made our olds drive us over as kids to watch him kick his 100. This is what he did to people who despised the Crows but loved Modra. He was a freak and extremely underrated/underappreciated.

Super player, especially considering his size. Incredible vertical leap and ability to read the flight of the ball. Pretty damn good kick as well.

2:17 best grab of his career. He rode Martyn's shoulders and turned backwards. He wanted the goal badly. Much better that the 1993 grab.

Great to see these highlights of Tony Modra.( plus some of his Adelaide team mates of that era) He was definitely one of the best full forwards of his day. His ability to leap and take marks the way he did showed pretty exceptional football skill & athleticism.
It was a shame he couldn't play in the Crows '96 & 97 premerships due to injury. Thanks for the memories. Onya Mods!

What really annoys me is the majority of the time the bloody camera is just to close to do the mark proper justice!
