This is an incredibly strong Magicka Warden (Magden) PVP Healer build for CP and no CP PVP. Not only can you heal your team, but you can pump out as much as or MORE damage than many damage dealer builds, all while being an absolutely monster on the battlefield to take down. You can see in the game clips at the end of the video, whole teams together couldn't bring this build down and the build was able to reach 1 million healing PLUS 1 million damage in the SAME battleground! If you like to or want to PVP heal, you have to try this out!

Been having a LOT of success with this build for the BG event. It's tanky enough to stand your ground when you get jumped on your own, but really shines when you've got a teammate or two with you--just a crazy awesome support build. I'm typically only getting a couple kills, twice as many assists, and 0-2 deaths, but am still usually top on the team scores. While I love playing healers, this up-in-your-grill healer is the bees knees. Thank you for sharing :D

I rarely comment, but I have to let you know I LOVE this build! I've spent a couple of days grinding out all the gear and enchants listed and am truly amazed. This is easily the most fun I've had in ESO PVP since I started 3 years ago. The build / playstyle reminds me of Discipline Priest in WoW TBC, or Resto Druid in WoW WotLK. I ended up race changing my Warden to Argonian to finish the build (first ever paid race change, it's that good!). Thank you!

I have had the chance to play this and it is AMAZING. I am a pve player and struggle big time with pvp. Never coming out on the winning team. With this build not only am I doing good in damage but topping heals! Thank you again Dooma!

I just picked up this game and was interested in healer, as the last game I played really needed a healer in every team. Currently level 37 and trying to grind up to be able to have most of the gear and skills here. It seems like a fun build for dungeons (before level 50) and solo content.

Hi Kevin! Awesome and welcome to ESO! As you are leveling to lvl 50 and then cp 160, try to level as many skills as possible along the way so you dont have to circle back and level other things later when you want to try them out. This build is still a monster in BGs and I think is a great first healer impression for a newer player. You'll end up more well rounded than a traditional healer build. This build is so insane. I totally love it. Thank you for that. One of the best build guides I see in the last time. Got a 650k/600k today and I not even have optimize the gear. It needs most of the time 4+ people to kill me. It's so much fun.

Wardens are my favorite class and healing is my favorite role. Even if I didn't create this build, I would still push it out to people. It rarely disappoints. Also 650/600 is REALLY good! Hi Varko! It does! It works great for both cp and no cp pvp. I spent some time in IC and Cyro with it and it did great. The very first clip in the game play section at the end, is CP IC. You can see there even with enemies having cp the build worked well.

Dooma do you like this build more or the templar one? Im new at pvp healing , only ever played as a dd. So its kinda hard for me to drop my habbit on jumping in doing the dmg. If these can do both its awesome, so what build would you recommend as a beginner the warden or the templar? Thanks for the builds great work as always
Hi Michel! Thank you very much and you are welcome! I would say Warden in that case. Its a bit easier to do well with. While both builds are meant to be played aggressively, you don't have to be AS aggressive on the Warden which will allow someone time to understand what is going a bit easier from the healer POV.

Hi Gameroom Bum! Awesome! I hope you like it when you get to it! Watch the sections of the video where it discusses the back bar skills and then how to play the back bar immediately after. The video explains in that area why powered on the backbar is so useful and how we use it (the extra healing).

Hi Michael! I am updating all builds for high isle now. But for right now, it still works great as is.
The website will typically always be the most updated version. What I am doing for players starting soon in High Isle, is as I update builds, I will be adding a change log at the bottom of the written guide so they can see what was changed and when. I also will typically let people know under the community tab when things have changed/been updated.

@@michaelhattingh7974 You are very welcome! I forgot to add in my reply: For now I dropped the 1pc. Troll King/Gaze Mythic and replaced it with the Chokethorn monster set. It just needed a little more healing output after the Hybridization change.

hello again, another question concerning resistances, if the hard cap is 33k and if i saw correctly unbuffed u have around 29k + ice fortress u will reach around 34-35k, the pariah 5 pcs bonus doesn't seem a little bit too much even when u have your resistances lowered by players?
In pvp, people ignore some of your armor with penetration stats and debuff applyed to you. Most of builds have something around 7k to 12k penetration. So it's not a bad option to invest more armor than the hard cap for extra tankiness

Hi Fippo! I am really glad you like it, it is my personal favorite pvp healer build! I am updating all the builds for High Isle, but for now, I dropped the 1pc. Troll King/Gaze Mythic and changed to the Chokethorn Monster set. I dont see the build having a 'major' overhaul in High Isle, but I do plan on a few tweaks.
Would you change anything on this build with Waking Flame? The heavy use of Hrothgar's Chill makes it tough with so much resistance.
Hi Jason! I actually JUST play tested a bunch of games with Hrothgars on both Raid Boss builds. I personally am leaving Pariah (rather than Hrothgars) on the Warden, but Hrothgars worked great on the Templar version.

Would you still keep EV even though the health recovery is halved due to battle spirit? From scouring through the comments i saw you said that winters respite can be sorta meh, but im curious if there was somethin else you were using nowadays

I’m gonna try this but strip the damage side of it away. I want to be super tanky and just heal the cyro groups. Luckily I picked up pariah for my custom build but sadly bought winters respite even tho I wanted eternal vigor for other things
Hi Skar! Awesome, I am sure you'll crush it! Definitely don't use winters if you can replace it with something else, its not in a good place for pvp healing currently. It has a 10 second internal cd, and you know as soon as it hits the ground, players will be moving out of it haha, so when you recast an ability, winters will not proc for 10 seconds. You constantly recast heals to cover players and winters wont follow most of the time leaving it with much more down time that up time. Also, the heal is small after it gets reduced in pvp, only ticking every 2 seconds. I just checked, I have 18 pieces of winters in my bank, I have tried, hard, to get it to work lol. Its just always kinda meh. It is however a really decent set for things like 1 bar healing dungeons and what not. I use it in this build and it works great: th-cam.com/video/h-S1gJBOMcs/w-d-xo.html
@@Dooma oh yeah winters wasn’t that great but it was cheap and got me in action fast. I was taking on quite big groups in gray host so I can’t wait to make it even better. I mostly like to Zerg bomb on my magblade tho. This just a side project

hello, i am playing a breton warden healer using almalexia and eternal (resto, 1h +sh) , it was working really good until now, not really try it for blackwood, what's your opinion ?
Hi Thanos! Blackwood changed a lot of things, especially for PVP healing haha. Many builds that used to perform well, do not any more. Almalexia 5 set has too many win conditions for such a small reward, in my opinion. 1) YOU have to be taking damage to proc it2) Your teammates have to be within 7 meters 3) The heal is very small even before the pvp reduction so its healing effects are very minimal. It is a weak 5 set bonus currently, especially for how spread out PVP can be. I would give Pariah + EV a try. Its an incredibly strong combination, even if you don't want to play aggressive like this build, you can change the back bar to be more healing/buff oriented, still put out strong heals, and be difficult to take down by enemy players.

Hi Jennifer! That's not a dumb question! This wouldn't be the greatest for PVE. It lacks many aspects that PVE healers typically would want and need to bring to the group.

I know I'm late to this but I'm excited to try this but I was wandering if it's easy to switch back and forth from pve to pvp?
Hi Jelly! I hope you enjoy it! With enough skill points, swapping from pvp to pve is just changing gear, swapping some skills around, and a few cp slottable. If you are playing on pc and get an addon like alphagear or dressing room, then 1 press of a button changes your entire build for you, other than cp. but if you pvp in no cp environments, then. You don’t have to change cp at all.

My build is similar to this one and someone just told me that healers ruin battlegrounds.
Hi Megan! Awesome! Healers can carry a BG when played well. Easily. However, Its not super easy to play them right now in this meta AND do well consistently. I have seem many healers myself just totally drag down a team as well because they struggle to stay alive (which means they either are contributing to an enemy teams deathmatch score or not helping their own team win objectives) while having very little healing done and little to no damage/cc. Its in a rough spot. But those that take the time to put together a proper build and learn to play the role effectively, are absolute monsters in the battlefield, which I guess can apply to everything haha. I have seen every single type of damage dealer do equally as bad as the most struggling healer.
Hiii is a little to late but I wanna try this build, but I want to do PvE And PvP, the build is still good in PvE?
Hi Sapo! This build wouldnt be the best for pve. Pve is a little different in eso where all of your gear sets and abilities our outwardly focused. Meaning everything you have and do is to make the other people in the party stronger with buffs and resources. Whereas in pvp its typically a bit more selfish of a set up, because you have to focus on staying alive first when people are focusing you, and then healing/doing damage second. Its normal to have 2 builds (or more) in ESO, one/some for pvp and one/some for pve. I hope this helps!
You have to be like way over the armor cap right?
Hi Shard! There is a lot of penetration in ESO. You can still get melted even in a build like this if you arent paying attention when being attacked by proficient players.
@@Dooma I just got this build in recommended and i would love to try , but im little worried that's it's not a good idea since waking flame patch came out and everyone is playing hrotgar , did you try play that build in this patch?
@@Sinuhetic Hi Skero! I tried Hrothgar on both of the raid boss builds and I felt it worked smoother on the Templar version. Remember this is a support build, not necessarily a Magden dps build, even though it puts out great pressure in fights. Hrothgar does work and does up your damage with ice staff ele wall spams, but it also makes you more squishy and if you are dead, you cant support your team.
If I were to give you a final answer to "Is Hrothgar better?" I dont think I can. I think it comes down to both individual playstyle, preference, and ability. I personally am still using Pariah on the Warden raid boss and Hrothgar on the Templar Raid Boss version.

@@Sinuhetic Ohhh ok I got you now. I tell you what, let me give you a more defined answer later this evening than what I want to say now. I play tested it all thoroughly, but early with the onset of the new sets. They are much more prevalent now. I am going to play test both set ups on today’s stream and I will give you my thoughts. I personally will keep using it for a few reasons, but that may not be best for everyone.
