What's the rev limit on these stock, and the rev limit on yours now? Was that a 2nd gear, low start? Shame about the clutch, as it sounded like it had all the power it needed
So for stop lights I learned a trick.... what ya do is cross your fingers, and tighten up your bunghole real gooooooood, and that usually holds the light green/yellow just long enough for ya to get through, it's a pretty solid trick, try it lolol

That's amazing you replace your clutch and don't have the flywheel resurfaced then take it straight to a truck pull without breaking it in. You smoke the clutch at the first pull with a little bit of power and the remedy to fix it is to throw a bunch more power at it just to destroy the clutch at the second pull. Smart
Core Shifters make custom short throw shifter that will mount to ur transmission also. Well worth it, I got a couple even my self. 1 for my Dakota is only 15% throw reduction but man I love it and u feel the crisp shifts and more control quicker 0-60 times even

You need to be pulling in 4th gear if that's a 5 spd. That's your 1:1 ratio. Low side of the t case. Get a sintered iron twin disc at the very least so you can slip the piss out of it on the line. If your rear suspension isn't already blocked you need to make some stops to block it. Also maybe down the road you need to either send the head to get ported or find a ported head for it.. makes a BIGGG difference specially on a 12v with a cam. A 188/220 is an awesome cam that is normally drop in for most Cummins engines, others that have had head or deck work done may need an oversized head gasket for clearance but still not a big deal at all. Invest in pushrods and valve springs once you start turning some more RPM.. it's really surprising how much power can be left on the table do to valve float and push rod deflection with a stock valve train.

2800 ish stock, that’s got 5k gov springs I believe maybe it’s 4K so it’s around there somewhere
