The father daughter dance made me cry so much. My father passed away before I was born. So I grew up not knowing what it was like to have a man to call papi. My mom didn't want to raise me on her own, so she almost gave me up to abort. She decided not to, but she wanted to give me up for adoption. But my grandparents told her no, that they would help her with me through everything. My grandpa was my dad, I didn't see him as a grandpa although I called him grandpa. He was my bestfriend, and my " father figure " he loved me to pieces and gave me the world. Worked his butt of to provide for me and our family. Took me out to eat and shop every Day. We would go fishing together. We would go to the park together. He is my rock. My mom and I moved out of their house when I was about 6. After about a year, my mom hooked up with an old friend and they eventually got married. I didn't like him much.. I didn't know how it felt to have to " share my mom " and now, me and my stepfather fight so much.. and I wish my mom never married sometimes. We were fine on our own. I asked my mom for a quinceanera, she said we will see. But he said " no don't even ask me for that crap" it broke my heart.. shattered it because I dreamt of this day since I was a little girl. And now my hopes were ruined.. my grandpa wants to give me one so bad, but my grandma just recently passed and he stopped working and cant seem to find a job because people think he is to old to work. But I wish people could just see him the way I do. He is in such pain due to bad things always happening to him. After my grandma died, he has no break from bills, etc. I'm praying that God makes it possible because he knows how bad I want it. My stepdad thinks I just want it so I can be vain and have center of attention. He thinks birthdays are overrated, but yet he wants a big party for his birthday in September. I want a quince to be thankful for my life. A celebration due to the fact when I was born, I was also very sick and had a tiny chance of living. I want a quince because, it's who I am. But no one understands me.. 😔
