Go with the flow ..watch the turds float by , if you touch them, it will get very messy.
I never understood what he meant with “going beyond consciousness”. It seems to me consciousness is the reality itself. This is also expressed in Hindu scriptures.
Consciousness means knowing, but before you know something you must be there already, that is beyond.
@@TheAmbamatamantrasvideosI feel that consciousness with content “becomes” knowing. But when content drops away, only pure (untainted) awareness is left. I don’t see how we can go beyond that, especially because notions like “beyond” have to do with the content that is than absent.
Absence of content is beyond. It mean you have to be like that.

I think what Maharaj is saying is that the body-mind unit will continue to do what it does and you can't forcibly stop (and you can force it only with the help of your mind) it from doing things. And if you attempt to stop it by force, you'll in some way harm the natural functioning of the body-mind unit. Instead, he advises witnessing what goes on in an aloof manner. This type of watching automatically strengthens the witness and intelligence arises. By observing, you'll find out what you need to react to and what you don't need to do anything about but just watch it arise and fade away. In our current condition, we THINK we need to do something about everything and we don't need to. So, by watching (observing), we relax. And this relaxation becomes deeper and deeper; peace and intelligence arise as a result. Ignorance (incorrect understanding) gets erased. Hope this helps!
