The latest of MSC's growing fleet of Ultra Large Container Ships, MSC Raya, goes astern for berth 7, Felixstowe on the morning of Tuesday, 24 May 2023.
Her previous call was at Antwerp, Belgium.
She can carry 24,116 TEU aboard her 400 metre long, 61.55 metre wide (1,312ft long, 212ft wide) hull, but her capacity has already been exceeded by MSC Irina, which has a capacity of 24,346 TEU.
And remember, it won't be long until some shipping line orders a 425 metre (1,395 feet) long container ship . . .
