  • I tested the Fiido L3 speed unlocked range test.
    I rode 15 miles, real world test.
    Started with 5 bars of battery, ended with 4, max speed of 24mph, average of 15mph. About an hour of riding.
    I estimate I could get 40 miles unlocked throttle only in a real world test.
    Thanks for watching.

    Hey, liked the video. I'm getting one of these. How is your going after a long time? Any new videos come out on it?

      Hi, haven't had it out because it was winter here on the eastcoast, took it out 2 weeks ago for a quick cruise since was a bit warmer, everything is fine. Any videos in particular you would like to see?

      I can understand that. I was just intersted to see if the bike held up over time., battery etc. Any videos are good, I'll watching out when you post new ones.

      battery was about where i left it months ago, about half, i rode around for 20 mins or so, charged it back up to 75%, all seems good. weather is heating up, so I will be riding it some more, I will report or any issues, and if I have video ideas I will post them! but i have been very busy.

    I reckon the L3 does 40 miles at full throttle flat out 20mph+. I am 180lbs(say 200 lbs all in), 5'10". I did a fast run of 31/32 miles from full battery and when I checked the voltage it was exactly at 15% left. So that would give a solid range of 38/40 miles at full speed. At a speed of 17/18 mph it should give 48/50 miles. At the original locked speed of 15 mph it does something like 60 miles per charge - maybe more if you were a lighter person. Also, I'm talking about average terrain (gradual hills) and moderate winds. If you have a totally still day with no winds, you'll get a few percent more.

    Oh man, I shouldn't be looking at another folder. (I already have a Lectric XP Lite) but this one seems like it'll go a LOT further on its enormous battery. No pedaling though, seems like it wouldn't be practical on this bike.

    • @elektrotvtech
      @elektrotvtech  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You are correct, pedaling is not practical, but I do pedal to start from idle and up hills to put less strain on the battery. But full throttle is the way to go on this bike!

      Why would you guys think pedaling is not practical on this bike? not even on less speeds? @@elektrotvtech

      @@elektrotvtechYup, I assumed that 30 miles was done unlocked too.
      Citizen Cycle managed to get 70-plus miles on his L3, but his L3 was still factory locked at the 15mph limit.
      I also have an L3 since September of last year. I bought it new directly from Fiido.
      I weigh around 238lbs, and I'm 5ft 11in. tall.
      HAPPY Riding 🤙😁

    Habría alguna forma cómoda de poder cargar la batería hasta el 90%? Todo en pro de conservar y cuidar la batería.
    Gracias por el hermoso video un saludo.

    I know it's an old video, but do you know if unlocking the speed also improves on PAS speed, or is the max speed only reachable through throttle only?

    • @elektrotvtech
      @elektrotvtech  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi, no the PAS speed is not affected. This is only max full throttle speed. The PAS levels stay the same.

    So only 30 miles if unlocked on a full charge throttle only?

    • @elektrotvtech
      @elektrotvtech  หลายเดือนก่อน

      about this range yes, 30-35 on real world conditions, hills, stops, etc. But 30 miles throttle only is very good at 20 mp/h.

      Hi, I don't think u can, they are not thin, any wider and it would not fit. The tires are decent.

    I got about 30 miles unlocked in a cold hilly area (Bristol england) however by summer when it was very hot and i had lost about 20 kilograms of weight i got a extra 8 miles tho i could sonetimes get 40 tho at the tail end of the battery it was going so so slow lool
    Overall i think the L3 a decent bike for the price yet i think im better off with a mechanical bike like a 2nd hand brompton or a 20 inch folding bike. As i had so many issues with spare parts and it having only 40 miles whixhvis only go good for commuting but not so great for touring. Which this was suppose to do. But after 40 miles with a dead battery its the worst bike in the world!
