Thanks! We were very surprised when we tried going out the other side and it was all piles of impassable slick dirt where the easier way out used to be. It makes for a good story though, doesn't it?
Glad to see you guys got him out! It would be sad to see anyone have to call a tow into the park! That feature is quite daunting for there being no warning, I hit it last year going the other direction, that climb is so steep!
We were just out there Sunday and helped a Jeep off the side of a hill and back onto the trail and it was my 1st time out there lol Cant leave ppl stranded, it can happen to anybody. Nice video
Hey how did your drone operator record the audio too. Also is the park ok with drones? We are only 10 miles and go there about once a month for a lap, always chicken to head in that abyss with our jeep.
Audio is recorded with an audio recorder and or iPad, then added in post. Dji go4 allows iPad to record audio with video….the dji fly app does not have this functionality. Different drones use different apps.
Cringed so hard when the dude started digging while they started winching him... come on guy... good job though folks. I would've gifted a kinetic rope instead though, more useful and better than a tow strap.

All local public parks in Michigan are ok with drones as local units of government are prohibited from regulating unmanned aircraft.

never would work. the pull vehicle need to be bigger then the stuck vehicle. the mini truck never had a shot at making.

Digging holes certainly don't help matters. Put it drive let it help, but don't floor it.
