I just think all the satin/silk and knife pleat skirts look fabulous on you! Your hair pulled up looks so very sophisticated and shows off your beautiful face. I buy 85% of my clothes from Talbots. They always have great sales if you are patient enough to wait. You are right though they do sell out! I missed out on a linen shirt because I waited. The pink vest would look great with your ivory corduroy pants and the plaid jacket. I didn’t care for the pink twirl skirt with it. The textures were off for me.
So glad to see the intention. In those situations where I'm waiting for something and it sells out, I look at it as it wasn't meant to be, something better awaits. 😉
I just bought emu extra cheap as the last pair on sale so I'm happy. Summer is the best time to look for fall or winter :) I have very similar figure as you do, so your outfits give me some good inspiration. Unfortunately I live in Europe, so some brands are not available or difficult to order, but I found 3 (!) skirts very similar to yours champagne silk skirt (2 creamy + 1 grey/silver), and they make my outfits a lot better! The pink plaid skirt looks luxurious in every outfit. I learned that is better to invest in quality wardrobe then buy cheap with low quality/not so nice as we want, but ofc I look for sales an occasions 😁

Proportion and color are two big pieces of style. Fit is easy, you know when something doesn't fit right, when you fidget a lot and adjust constantly. The most important thing though is how does it make you feel? There are loads of "fashion rules" we're told about but if you feel really good, and feel like yourself in it, then wear it even if it doesn't adhere to the "rules". For instance, short women are told they can't wear midi skirts. I wear them anyway because they make me feel beautiful, and that confidence is what makes it look good TO ME. Try not to put any weight into what others think, because if YOU love it, and it makes YOU feel good, that's what really matters. Hope that helps!

I have heels and I enjoy them but in this case, I really wanted to wear my kitten heels (which I also love). I tend to not let the opinions of others influence what I wear, I don't think kitten heels look old fashioned, I find them to very chic, and comfortable to boot! I know they look good on me, and that's what matters most to me. Of course, if you enjoy a heel, then by all means wear them! 😉

The magenta sleeveless blouse needs a simple adjustment of the front of the armholes. You can do it yourself. It stops that bit of gaping.
