My wife and I went there Jan 1-7, 2024 and this was by far the very BEST vacation we have ever taken. Even better than cruises. We are now going to go back every year. But we go to totally relax and unwind, and leave the stress in the ocean!

@@functionallyflawless I went to the Finest in Playa Mujeres and Excellence Riviera Maya. The experience and service was amazing. I did have Excellence Club suites, but honestly I don’t think it’s a big deal or worth upgrading to unless you’re looking for more privacy. I like socializing and participating in all of the resorts activities.

Do you have a credit card that gets you priority pass? If so you’ll get in for free and you can get a free lunch. I believe we got some Jamaican meat patties and a sandwich. Priority Pass also lets you get in a private line when leaving Jamaica to expedite the security check in process.

The furnishings in the room and in the restaurant looked very inexpensive (in this video) - not what I expected. After watching the video today, we are probably a "no" on this resort. Feel free to disagree.
