The OnePlus 13 is not bad but just like the Oppo Find X8 Pro it's a real regression in terms of camera equipment, but, my real problem with the OnePlus 13 is this blatant and yet silly effort made by Oppo in terms of photo-video processing to make the OnePlus 13 really inferior to the Oppo Find X8 Pro in photo-video, it's so silly, and it must take so much unnecessary effort to set up different photo-video treatments for almost the same equipment, pff 🤦🏽♂️
Same thought. There's no reason for oppo to downgrade OnePlus 13 especially since they cost almost the same and OnePlus actually enjoys better brand image then oppo almost everywhere outside China
Oppo find X8 cost around 100$ more than the OnePlus 13, OnePlus wants to give the best equipment at the best price, they decide to put some compromises on camera performance to stand the price, it's not oppo's fault. And if they make it the same phone, there wouldn't be any need for one of them to exist

OnePlus 13 conveys color and texture better and more naturally. And that's the main thing. Tell me how often you will shoot objects from a distance. There's practically no one who needs it. Zoom in on the object a little bit and that's it, but a perspope is nonsense. For this reason, the OP is super from this test!
Compared to standard s21 to s24 its prpbably great. Thats more like a toy camera zoom than a real zoom and now ill have to buy the ultra or switch the brand. But yes everyone should catch up with with vivos zoom...
Vivo is well ahead and there is not much difference between the rest unless you are nitpicking by zooming in on a already zoomed photo, then obviously the lower megapixels will show up, but who does that? I know creators love zoom, but I rarely use them, 90% of my stuff is the main camera either photos or videos. That is why people flexing on the iPhone zoom speak for the minority-most will be okay. If you do a lot of zoom then the OnePlus is still a bad choice, just buy the Vivo. Sadly the Vivo is not sold in the West so is irrelvant to 99.9% of Westerners.
@@andyH_England i love taking pics of animals and there a good zoom is important cuz they tend to runaway when you get closer. :D Really dissaponting to look at those pics taking with my samsung. This and batterylife is my biggest complain about the phone.

I am owner of OnePlus 12 and got used to have not very good photos in the bright scenes, but it can be fixed with night mode - sadly it's not working with videos. Apart of that - if you take photos under daylight this smartphone is the best one cpmparing quality/price. After Oneplus and don't want to go back to any device that chargering less than 30 mins.
One plus 12 camera is bad when comparing with iphone or samsung but one plus 13 is excellent it is as good as s24 and iphone 16 pro please check the internent then talk
Telephoto also looks much better with the OnePlus wide-angle lens and I really do wish they use the Periscope zoom from the OnePlus 12 instead of the lens they chose but it is what they chose
Think about it Apple has been doing AI for years with subpar lenses and Google copy that. Now that OnePlus has AI they did pretty damn good for their first run. It's not perfect but it's good
