Thanks a Lot, Andrea!. I am going to stitch 1 for my son in law. I hope he will like it. U teach so Nicely & Clearly ! Am looking forward to more of ur videos. Bye !.
Thanks for sharing this project with us! My sister is traveling to Europe so I showed her your travel wallet. She loves it. I will tag you when I get made. Thanks again
I don't think I can put into words just how much I love this. The way you explain things is not only incredibly clear but it feels like you're talking to me like a teacher or a parent. Sometimes you come across tutorials where people sound condescending and you are the complete opposite. I can't wait to make one of these. I'll tag you on instagram!
Thank you so much for sharing KClark! You have made my day extra special and I am so happy you are inspired to sew this project. I shall be looking forward to seeing your new Passport cover. XO, Andrea
This was fun to make. Great instructions. I did make note for the next one--when sewing all the materials together (before flipping), I'll start about 1/4" down. I struggled to tuck my material in for the very last sewing. THANK YOU. You're fun to follow.
This was just what I was looking for, and Your instructions are wonderfully easy to follow. In order to be safe than sorry, I’m including some RFID fabric
It stands for Radio-frequency identification and protects your credit cards and other items you carry from readers. Google RFID Wikipedia, and they can explain better than I can. I bought some RFID fabric through Nancy's Notions to sew into a wallet or purse (or passport cover) which hopefully will be prettier than those you can buy. Since our passports have our info embedded in the cover, I figured the RFID fabric would be useful here too.
Thank you so much for easy to follow video..!! I've made four of these this weekend. I love them..!! : ) I used interfacing on most of the panels and pockets to make it a bit stiffer. I'd post a pic here if there were an option. They turned out so cute.
I wish would could share pictures here! If you are able to please tag me in the photos on Instagram or Facebook using @sewspire. I'd love to see your passport covers!
Nice project! I used hook and loop for the closure. I used a print fabric with pictures which I didn’t catch right away so one pocket seam is up and the other is down. Thanks for the video.
💞Another Great Tutorial Andrea... But I gotta tell you" Those Dog~Gone Stray Threads were Bugging the Heck Outta me! 😁😄😁 I Don't know why they Annoyed me so Much' I probably don't even notice as much when I'm sewing' but they did... 😂😅😂😅😂 I'm watching. TH-cam videos & your tutorial pops up & I happen 2 be making something similar to this. As Always I 💖Love💖 watching your Tutorials... Thanks a Million 4 Sharing... 💖💞💖
Did you add the snap to the outer fabric before sewing it together and turning? If so, was it in the center? I think it would be difficult to add afterwards reaching inside the pocket.
Hello Rej! I do sell small bundles of the Premier Prints in assorted designs which are perfect for these passport covers: sewspire.com/product/premier-prints-fabric-remnant-bundles/ Or, you can order by the yard from Fabric.com: www.fabric.com/brands-and-designers/premier-prints
Hello! Sweet project but do you have a written step-by-step tutorial (even for purchase)? I'm needing more specific info such as to how much to fold the edges, the seam allowance, etc. Thanks for any info!
I like to attach the hook and loop tape after I have completed the flap and before I attach the flap to the bag. You can use Pellon to stiffen the bag. Happy Sewing! Andrea
I am at the last step in folding the edges and tried to go over the corner and needle broke. I guess the corner have to much fabric or my pellon is too thick. I am planning on making some more. Can you please tell what else I can do to have a smooth stitch? Thanks!
did I just hear you say that you use a hammer to install the snaps? that you don't use the snap pliers? I would love to see how you do that. Maybe a quick how to video....please please please

Sorry my creative friend :)
Do you interface any of your fabric , if so what type of interfacing did you used. So happy that I found you. Thank you
I like to use the Pellon 809
Did you add the snap to the outer fabric before sewing it together and turning? If so, was it in the center? I think it would be difficult to add afterwards reaching inside the pocket.
Love this going to make it from my daughter. What size magnetic fastener would you use?
So glad you like the tutorial Samantha! I would use the smallest size they offer.
Molto carino...grazie mille....
Can u please show passport bag with something to hold it and seperate cash and card holders to slip in it
I would love to see this with a Covid Vaccination vinyl pocket on the other side
great idea!
I'd like to know where online I can purchase this kind of fabric patterns? Thank you! I can't wait to try this!

So sorry I don't.
Forgot to ask you what type of fabric you are using here in the passport wallet and what type of interfacing you used ? Have a great day
I like the Pellon Decor Bond and Premier Prints for this project. You can find both at fabric.com
At what point can I put a Velcro? Is it ok to put Pellon on all the fabric to make everything sturdy? Thanks. Nice pattern 😀
I like to attach the hook and loop tape after I have completed the flap and before I attach the flap to the bag. You can use Pellon to stiffen the bag. Happy Sewing! Andrea

Good 👏👍
can u please let me know which bating / interface is used? I am from India. Thank you so much
I like the Warm and Natural Quilt Batting or the Pellon Fusible Fleece.
Hello! I would like to know what kind of Pellon stabilizer you used for this project? I'm not sure if I should use mid-weight or heavyweight. Thanks!
Great question April! I used the heavier weight; but, I do think the mid weight would be just fine!
Thank you very much!!
What is the name of the interfacing you use? I keep buying the wrong ones
It is Pellon Decor Bond 809 Firm Iron On Backing #1925944 for $2.77 p yard at Walmart
Do u have to have the thick interfacing
No, you can use a light interfacing or just twill.
did I just hear you say that you use a hammer to install the snaps? that you don't use the snap pliers? I would love to see how you do that. Maybe a quick how to video....please please please
That's right! I love my little hammer. I do believe I have a video that shows how I do that. I will see if I can find it for you.
رائع و شكرا.
what fabric used this passport wallet and where to buy this fabrics. please tell me Mam.i like very much this wallet case thank u so much.but I don't know where to buy this fabrics. I requested u please tell me.
fabric.com
You can try home decor upholstery fabric in Joann
Did you reinforce the pockets with interfacing?
If you have a machine that can handle the additional layer, then yes. If not, go ahead and skip it.
what size of wallet
I am not sure. So sorry. The wallet will hold a standard USA passport.
its ok dear

I want to know
Can you tell me now???
Just found your videos! Sorry to say, I didn't stay long to watch,,,,, I could NOT hear you !!!!! Audio is just plain awful!
