I've loved Cate and Tyler from the beginning. I know placing Carly for adoption was the best decision for them at the time but my heart breaks for them because you can tell that they wish Carly was with them.
Incredibly sad that this (and all) adoption agencies and Brandon & Teresa took FULL advantage of the very temporary hiccups that Cate and Tyler have completed overcome with time. I wish instead these agencies supported young parents so they could actually keep their children 💔
Cate & Ty are the best parents! I love how much they have grown and still love each other unconditionally.
@@vitaminkatee On Brandon and Teresa part I don't think thought that show was going to be a hit but also as teens sometimes it doesn' t work out although seeing it play out on the show at times Brandon and Teresa were protecting Carly right from the start Tyler and Cate should understand were they are coming from because now as adults if they were in same situation Brandon and Teresa would they like it exposing there child
@@cathygalea2558 Brandon & Teresa are pieces of shit. They couldn't have a biological baby of their own so they manipulated literal children (Cate & Tyler were not adults at the time of the adoption) into giving up their own baby. Stop acting like B & T care about Carly. They ONLY care that they are able to steal someone else's baby and get away with it without anyone seeing what POS they are. So yeah, you are right they didn't expect the show to become popular and had they known a light would be shined on them and their actions for the rest of their lives they likely would have picked a different child to steal from like they did with their 2nd adopted child.
@@vitaminkatee You might as well accuse every Adopter of stealing babies then and the Agent was in on it too if it wasn't for the show Cate n Ty would probably have a better relationship B and T went back on there word because they kept bringing the whole adoption thing on TV and on there social media after they told him not too as far as there second Adoption I am sure they probably went private because of Carly
I'm so happy they set up a face time, my heart broke for Nova when she was expressing her feelings.
Kate ,Ty, Maci,Taylor are my so so favorite. They have all grown so much & have the best open relationship with their children.
Nova acts so grown & she can even put the grown words right where they go in a sentence. Such a smart girl. I love that Nova loves Carley & wants to see her and her be a part of their family at home. Which I know that is hard on all of them and don't know if adoptive parents will ever let anymore then 1visit a yr or every 2 yrs happen. But always remember Carley will be 18 one day and she will make her way to Nova and other siblings. Y'all have done great raising all the kiddo's.
I absolutely love you! Seeing how you have been so open and honest about everything from ur childhood all the way thru ur teens as well as ur life now is such an inspiration for me! I have 4 kids now, I had my 5th baby Dec 1 ,2020 but sadly he passed away on March 3,2021. But I have had a lot of trauma in my life from a very early age as well, I grew up without my mom, my grandparents raised me but I left home at 15& was pregnant at 16 with my daughter that’s now 26 years old. I’m so scared of losing another child now because my daughter is very bad off with her addiction to meth… I worry 24/7 about having to bury another child…but I ever had postpartum with my first 4 kids but I did with my youngest son (Axxel Creed)that passed away, so I had to deal with postpartum on top of losing my son and it broke me so far down that I had planned every detail out to take my own life while my husband and kids were at the beach that way my kids wouldn’t find my body… I was definitely struggling but I agreed to go on antidepressants even tho I had no luck in the past with any I had tried because I have always had SEVERE anxiety as well! But the day that I was going to end my life an old friend that I hadn’t spoken to in over 3 years reached out to me and asked me to come over and she was so excited to show me how she’d gotten sober and how she’d turned her life around so I agreed to go visit her in my head I was thinking that for me this was my chance to say goodbye to her because we were very close at one time. Long story short she had went thru a very bad experience being on the same meds the dr had me on and she begged me not to take them anymore and also begged me to stay the night. So I ended up staying and that night was the first night I didn’t take my meds, and I never took them again. That was in June of 2022. I ended up staying with her several weeks while the medicine got out of my system and I begin to feel “normal” again and I started to realize that instead of being angry with God for taking my son after 3 months I needed to be thankful that I was given atleast 3 months with my little man Axxel! Things have just gotten better and better since then… I’m still working on myself daily but I’m able to be a good mom again to the other 4 kids I have and a good wife again to my husband who was so incredibly patient with me thru everything. But I just want to say thank you and Tyler both for sharing your story and the open and honest way you guys do it ! I don’t know if you guys will ever see this but I really appreciate you guys because you both have helped me to understand my mental health issues and definitely to understand postpartum because I didn’t have a clue… I never thought in a million years I would relate and actually feel like someone on a tv show played a big part in saving my life but YOU GUYS MOST DEFINITELY PLAYED A HUGE PART IN SAVING MY LIFE AND I WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL!! I love you guys and the relationship you have, the way you guys are with your children and the honesty you guys show to the world!! So again thank you so much!❤❤❤
One more thing, I have since reconnected with my biological mother and she too lives in Michigan. I thought , maybe I could possibly run into you guys on the street when I go to visit my mom for the first time since I was super young… I know that’s probably never gonna happen but it would be an amazing opportunity to thank you in person!!! Much love to you,Tyler and all those beautiful baby girls you guys have brought into this world!! Please don’t ever change or stop showing the world the real side of things because I know that if you guys played this much of a part of my life then I have no doubt about the impact you guys have on other people as well! ❤❤❤

@@vitaminkatee I’m going to be nice because you’re probably a child. Carlee doesn’t know Cait and Tyler. She’s been with her parents, yes parents, since she was 2 days old. That’s all she knows. Her actual family is where she is.

Wow Cate you look amazingly healthy. I am so sorry that this decision to put Carley up for adoption is now effecting Nova too. I am so glad that Nova and Carley get to communicate through FaceTime. I am sure Carley appreciates your decision but must miss you all and Nova too.
I think if they were not on a t.v. show, things would be different. Seems the adopted parents are trying to keep Carly's privacy.

Bit they still talk about the private meets, ( which b&t asked them not to( yet they still do, not to mention taking a very intoxicated april to the last visit, not to mention the OF, they never followed through with anything they said they would do after signing away allrights to carly

This is hard..because, Carly is always going to wonder why she was given away & the other kids weren't.
Not if they are open with her the way Cate and Ty are with Nova but I can understand as to why they don't want extra cameras on her let her have her privacy
I think their 16 and pregnant episode and their early teen mom seasons are a love letter to Carly. Hopefully, when she grows up and has those kind of questions she’ll be able to watch them and know how loved she was by her biological family and how Catelyn and Tyler made what they thought was the best decision for her at the time.
@@jaffa17 True I am sure she will understand from what the show how difficult it was for both of them to come to that conclusion and how much they have grown from it they only wanted the best for her and still do but I think they should leave it up to Carly once she is of age if she wants to be on the show and have her say As far as contact it should be without the cameras around I don't see anything wrong with them just seeing and speaking to each over video chat as a whole family right now

I just hope Teresa and Dave realize that the more people who love their child, the better they get to feel. I get they are scared, but their kid is now old enough to want to be involved and want to be close to her sisters. They are literally full blooded sisters. They can't behind the fear that Carly will be taken or on TV anymore. Those things don't have to be a part anymore.

Those adoptive parents lied and said the adoption would be open and went back on it after they got their prize. It's really sad, and that child will come back to her real parents in time.
I think she already is with her real parents. Other than knowing who her biological parents are Cate and Ty are pretty much strangers to Carly. Brandon and Theresa will always be mom & dad, her REAL parents.

Brandon and Teresa have done a great job with Carly but it’s messed up how they sometimes don’t allow Cate and Ty to get close to her. I think Carly is old enough to make these decisions and she’s allowed to have a relationship with her biological parents and siblings. I feel like if they continue to push Cate and Ty away from Carly she will end up resenting them later on in life.
She's only allowed to have a relationship with her bio parents if Brandon and Teresa says so. Catelyn and Tyler legally have no claim over Carly

Carly might be the one asking for space and time away from them to process. Or she’s just not that interested anymore and her parents are going by her wants and needs

I think they just afraid that Carly will make a better relationship with real parents and sisters. Lol but idk I agree at some parts they should let them interact more. When she turns 18 that will be up to Carly & not Brandon and Teresa's decision anymore
Open adoption is not legally binding, its at the discretion of the adoptive parents, and c&t have over stepped the boundrys numerous times, shame on them for bad mothing carlys parents.

I always liked cate and ty . I think their very mature they knew they couldn't give the best life for their child at the time so they gave her up to have a better life even when their parents didn't support them on the decision, they had a lot of guts at 15 or 16 . I'm sure it was difficult for them but they wanted her to have a good life and not grow up the way they did . As her children get older they will understand more what they went through. I'm a firm believer in good communication.

Still such a brave choice made by C&T. I think (hope and pray!) that Carly will see the episode and realize what they were facing with being so young. I can honestly hope that C&T have a good relationship with Carly and support her and B&T. I never liked Dawn though.

Sisters have a true connection whether they met for a short time or not at all. I know this because my son only met his brother once and he misses him like he's about to cry. When they met they hugged each other so much didn't want to let go and my son said he waited his whole life which is 7 years to meet his brother and it was best day of his life and they are only half siblings same dad different mom so I believe these Sisters have a connection and wish they could see each other more.💯

Giving up that baby for adoption and then getting rich off handing your kid away must suck . I know it stings everybody in the family in the worst way.
Maci got rich and she didn't hand her baby off to anyone. So did Janelle, Farrah and all of the other teen Moms. Had Cate & Tyler kept Carly they still would have gotten rich.
