Late game, you can get away with 1 Orserk and 1 Large Power Generator. I have 1 orserk (4 star, artisan and nocturnal passive) and 1 Large power generator the keeps 3 oil extractors going 24/7.
i did it. I solo’d the rig and i killed everyone there lol. bring a water mount. bring a shadowbeak. bring a dogen. i am like 2/6 attempt wise on unlocking the oil there, there’s lots of chests there and i’ve noticed 2 spawn locations of the big chest ( looks like an apex crate)
I put my oil base in that exact spot. Mainly because I felt it the best place there for a raid resistant base due to how few possble places enemies would come from. And yes, the giant mushrooms are awesome.
Dude this video for min maxing oil production has been phenomenal immediately was able to make a 2nd base thanks to your info 4 lvl 1 ozerks runs 2 pumps a large gen a normal gen and a pylon perfectly. My first oil base also has things like the refridgerated crusher which with the previous set up forced me to swap one 1 star for a 4 star but still runs everything perfectly. Now I just need to breed each to nocturnal passive and there's not even a need for electricity zephyr farming now :)
I made 3 bases for oil but I've been using just 1 large power generator for each but using 2 artisan/work slave orserks for each base and I have had enough power. I also usually don't go around at night instead almost all the time before night time is even active I just go to bed maybe it's the minecraft playset that I'm used to😂
As of now its a chore to get enough oil to get palsteel. I would recommend getting 2 bases for oil instead. I think that they might easen up the acquisition of oil eventually, it's a little bit too grindy as of now.
yeah, even 10% faster gain is better then this. i just wana make all my bases at any oil field XD just to get 6 going the volcano is too much of a hassle for me with the 3 oil nodes. maybe there will be an Extracter 0.2 in the future to be unlocked in the tech tree. idk
Why is getting oil a chore? I set up the base and leave it for pals to do the work. Is oil different or something? Once you set it up you can't just walk away and let it produce?
@@sleasy01 It's less that and more I don't have the time or the memory to leave my computer on for eight hours to get all the oil I need for maybe half a nade launcher.
My rig base is on the northern beach where there is also hunting for more in the hordes of kits that can drop oil and not be killed by lazers. *go up when being targeted by lazers*
I heard oil… THAT SHIT IS MINE!!!!!!!! In all seriousness though, Pocketpair should really consider increasing the crude oil production by like 15-20%. Right now, it is more of a chore than an end-game grind.
Took me around 50-60 rockets from my leggo rocket to beat the area...leggo assault rifle was not much help.... used the little bit of pasteel to make the armor.. without it I got basically one shot in the place...after I made it as long as I didn't get too close to anyone at 52 I won with little to np.
If you leave your pals at the base while you go do other things for a while do they still get all depressed and get broken bones and stuff while still having the feed box full?
So for me of my 2nd attempt to get to the oil rig I've gotten there on my azurobe and I never gotten hit by those laser cannons also question I've crafted 10,000 ingots but I didn't get the achievement for it and the same thing goes for the inhuman act achievement so why didn't the achievements unlocked for? Also final question is there a way to go back to default on the palbox after messing with the palbox filter or what?

currently ive set up three breeding farms at my oil base with the new pal kikit, i think is its name, Im running them through the pal breakdown line and i wonder how many breeding farms i might have to step up to make it worth while (world settings for my world means 0 incubation time, so i want to see if this can be a viable way to farm extra oil. so far not great ROI

My large power generator doesn’t fill ovee 5%, and I’ve tried adding another, filling up with orserks, but i don’t know what’s going on
@cynthiagoncalves7558 don't forget to build the pylons, I have 2 orserk for each large generator and they work great
