Really good video, BTW in the nut shell, the D and E stands for the different safety level, from my understand, the D product should performance as the PLd , similar catalogue 3, and the E product should performance as the PLe, similar as the catalogue 4.
but well use what kind of the safety valve can't be determine by the engineer for most of the time by personal idea, but once get in touch with system system, it always need to calculate the system failure property and choose the components which can improve the system to reach to the ISO/DIN standard as well as the customer specific requirement for individual projects.
Hope for more knowledge sharing, thank you for the effort :)

The PLd and PLe difference is not entirely accurate. The MS6-SV-D can achieve category 4, PLe. You can achieve this by adding a 3rd sensor (S3).

Hey, I'm facing a problem regarding the difference between these two, as the enigneering for my project was done considering the MS6-SV-D and now the one installed and which I have to work with is the MS6-SV-E. Does it only come to the wires coming down from 4 to 1 (ignoring the one related to the pressure sensor) ? Is it as simple as wiring I/O EN1 & EN2 to the allocated outputs of our safety PLC ? Does the self-check feature makes up to the perfomance level on its own ?

    Hallo Sab,
my question, I have MS6, and maximum pressure is 6 bar. But why ms6 only get 2,4 bar???
    Happen after safety instruction fault.
    Any related with neca ??
    Or you have comment?
    Please..

Hello, It might have something to do with the soft start aspect to this valve. When a machine starts up the valve will slowly pressurize the system. Once the system gets to a certain pressure, the soft start goes full open. It is possible that the soft start is not able to reach its threshold to fully open. This can happen if there is an air leak downstream. You can try to troubleshoot this by disconnecting the rest of the system and just blocking port 2 at the valve. it should get to 6 bar if you do this test. If it does not then there is more to this problem.
