Nice video. I am working on my 270 outdrive currently. My reverse lock mechanism seems to work like it should but I have an issue when in forward gear. The single spring that pulls up on the locking pawls engages the locking pawls even when in forward, preventing the outdrive from being able to kick backward if you were to hit something under water or drag bottom. Can you make a video or comment on how it should be adjusted to lock on reverse but be free on forward?
