Today we kick off the #WWE2K18 content with some Attitude Era entrances in the RAW is WAR Arena, then later today I'll be switching focus to the Creation Suite as we take a look at this year's Create A Superstar mode!

Just go to advance creation, use the Kane ‘97 template but change the stage to current Kane
That is really frustrating that Cactus Jack hasn't got "Whole Lotta Groove" as his theme, especially when he's had it the past 2 years.

Im talking about the actual attires like 2001 Angle or Ministry Taker. Thy use the same face scan as current day so their faces just look so out of place. I don't want a 30 year old Kurt Angle to have the face of a 50 year old, idc about the caw parts.

They've done a terrible job at updating entrances this year. Classic Rock still has the Hollywood Rock entrance. Like, what sense does that make?

I feel like with retro superstars, specifically ones that have been in past games, they really don't bother with them that much, once in a while they will go out of their way, like with Andre this year, but other than that, they could give two shits. I think a lot of it is they focus so much on new stuff, especially this year, that they don't look at it as a priority.

the lighting makes his car look badass rest in peace to the goat and one of my heroes Eddie Guerrero and a lot of fans were complaining that they use the same attire as they did last year and I am perfectly fine with it because that is my favorite version of Eddie especially with the fact that Kurt Angle is the preorder bonus and he fought Kurt Angle at WrestleMania XX and with that attire plus the lowrider and the Viva La Raza theme Define who Eddie is

this is the correct theme for this persona, isn't it? he had the other theme when he was a heel and dressed in all brown. when he switched to this attire, he used 'Crash', I believe.

For 2k19 they need 2000 RAW arena and actual themes especially for Foley. I wonder if it'll be to celebrate 20th anniversary of the Attitude era. The game hasn't appealed to me again this year last one I bought was 2k16

GhOsT_pr0d1gY Unfortunately, this is the way the game will be. They’ll fix bugs, not the fact that they have a wrong tron video or generic version of an entrance song.
They completely redid the lighting yet they still can't get Kane's light right. The arena should be bathed in red, not dimmed red and yellow when Kane isn't just walking in the dark. I'm left wondering if they've ever actually seen a Kane entrance from that era at all.
Seems like they finally got the timing right on Kane's entrance pyro when he first walks out. It's been wrong for years.

Facial expressions STILL look like shit. How did Shut Your Mouth Have better facial expressions. Yes the faces look good in their natural state, but when the characters yell, scream, talk, or is meant to look angry/sell pain, they look stiff.

They fucked up That's not Cactus Jack's WWF Theme WTF and Really They couldn't get Kane's red lights right I almost couldn't see him before he got to the ring they always get everybody else right but they always get lazy when it comes to Kane.

Every time a new WWE game comes out, I check Retro Kane’s entrance. If his animation isn’t updated to look better (or updated at all AGAIN), I don’t bother with the game. If they’re too lazy to get Kane’s entrance right, they were probably too lazy to do other things right.

The Rock's face from WWF warzone looked better than what was produced here 😂, looks nothing like him. Undertaker & Mankind's entrance were good. McMahons facial expression looked frozen on the smile he produced when he was revealed to be the higher power 😂. Kane's entrance started off good but the camera angles were all wrong & he raised his arms way too fast. What's with Cactus Jacks edited music? Never happened before. 😕
We really need to get the Raw 2000 arena in here at some point. Nothing against the 98 Raw arena, but it's time for a change.

F3DL75 S Entrances are often the most requested thing from the audience each year. It makes sense to put a lot of focus into capturing as many of those as you can.
Game looks freaking incredible. Regardless what anyone says. Nit pick away. best wwe game to date. Somebody told me they think those complaining about “not getting the game” because it “doesn’t appeal to them” is really saying I can’t afford it so I’m going to try to make myself mad at it for no reason. Then try to talk others out of it too
They finally got Kane's pyro timing right in the beginning of his entrance. He came out a little late tho and why is the arena dark af?

One thing that really annoys me for dark entrances is the brightness of the ramp. Surely they can tone it down or black it out for entrances that require dark lighting? Also looks like we'll be changing retro Kane's entrance to his current one.

I agree that most of the people in the WWE Game community bitch about every little thing however:
1. The 2000-2001 RAW is WAR arena has probably been one of the most requested classic arenas and it's been skipped every year. It should've been included in WWE '13, but wasn't, and since most of the arenas we got in WWE 2K16 were from 2001, I don't understand how we ended up not getting the 2000 or 2001 version of the RAW is WAR arena when we got 1998 and 1999 which are virtually the same just '99 has the "WWF.com" logo above the entry way.
2. Current day Undertaker should look older but ABA and Ministry Undertaker should look younger and if you personally ask me, his Ministry model could use a hair update to look more how he did in the year 1999.
3. '01 HHH shouldn't look anywhere near '08 HHH nor should he have those trons or that entrance video. His hair should be in his face and curly, not slicked back like he had it in 2007 onward... Also it's not really clear why the "My Time" theme has been skipped when we had it in WWE 2K14...
4. Kurt Angle should look much younger especially on his '01 model.
So in this case, the complaints are warranted. If we could edit the superstar's hair and face, then most people probably wouldn't complain, but since we can't...
J'Rome Brown I get it dude, I wish I could get everything I wanted in all of these games, too. The fact of the matter is that the developers have to get around a set budget every year, and not everything gets accepted, some things get pushed back for later years. There's also royalties and copyrights to keep in mind, when it comes to certain music. A lot of shit is missing this year, yes, but the upsides this year beats every single game since 2K took over, so I'm thankful. Match creator is a big deal for me, really looking forward to it. Next years' game can only get better, one step at a time.
P.S:
I agree with some models needing to look younger, but that's the downside of face scanning.

They still haven't fixed/given triple h the correct hair. They gave it to Blake last year. Instead it's the same overgrown slick back hair he never used. Especially for '01 triple h. Also Kane's entrance gets a little better every year but I see that pole is still up his ass here.
