I’m not an Arsenal fan however, someone should point out that whilst United finished second that year, they weren’t ever close to actually winning the league whereas Arsenal have been top for most of the season and even had a big points cushion at one point. United missed out by twelve points whereas Arsenal will probably miss out by 8-10 which isn’t a massive points difference but when you consider that they’ve dropped most of their points from this seasons tally in the last month just shows how good they’ve been at times. With a bit more squad depth and experience, I think they would’ve won it this year.

Those allegations of cheating, which the club and our supporters feel are strongly a stitch up job, completely reinvigorated everyone involved at City. Our atmosphere was poor either side of the World Cup, people had got complacent when we struggled to implement Haaland and adapt to his style. If you don’t recruit properly, you will still fall short in the run-in. Again, you don’t win titles with a team without proper leaders. Even when Leicester won the league, they had Morgan, Kante, Mahrez, Vardy, Schemicheal. They may not be vocal leaders like a Roy Keane but they lead with their performance. you can’t win the league with a Odegaard as the LEADER!! Maybe in 5yrs but definitely not now.
