Basically Inzaghi is the person isagi is based off and Inzaghi was known for his free kick goals, not scoring them necessarily but actually deflecting the ball off his back from his teammates shot and it tricks the keeper. Noa knows how to motivate both of them, I think Noa wants both of them to evolve further. Having 2 strikers challenge you is better than 1 and Noa probably gets a feel that Isagi will be more motivated if he is underestimated. I mean thats how Isagi evolves all the time he is underestimated and underappreciated and at that point he forces himself to adapt and evolve.

This chapter broke me man. It was unexpected because I kept thinking about Noa’s “so that’s why Ego chose you” comment. It’s so depressing because this basically just sealed Isagi’s fate. Kaiser Impact Magnus is supposed to be an impossible to block shot so this arc might actually end with a penalty shot. Which means that the whole arc was for nothing. Isagi is still behind Rin, Isagi is still behind Kaiser, and of course, Isagi is leagues behind Noa. There was no way Isagi would’ve surpassed Noa until the World Cup but the other two? I’m honestly tired of the Isagi vs Rin rivalry. I don’t think Isagi can take on both Kaiser and Noa even if Kaiser SOMEHOW misses a penalty shot with an impossible to block shot.

And since it’s a penalty shot the ball will once again be stationary which lets him get that perfect shot. Kaiser impact can be stopped and Kaiser Impact magnus is an extremely conditional shot and of course, that condition is met once again.
