I do love the symbolism that a serpent is the first to fall from heaven, and also the first to rise back into it from hell. Also yes, snakes do indeed have 2.
I never thought about it that way. But yes, Lucifer was the first to fall from heaven and in Eden he took the Form of a Serpent.
Hearing Alastor have a breakdown in a lower pitch makes him sound a lot more sinister to me and I LOVE it
The way I'd describe _Helluva Boss_ to someone who's already seen _Hazbin Hotel_ is that it's a road trip instead of a flight. Both shows share their setting, general tone and strong focus on characters, but _Helluva Boss_ applies them to a more episodic structure with a _much_ looser set of restrictions on comedy; where _Hazbin_ got us invested in a long-term story following its cast of loveable misfits, _Helluva_ follows _its_ loveable misfits through one short misadventure after another -- they're still going _somewhere,_ but the destination isn't as important as all the zany roadside attractions we get to see along the way.
I've seen it described as "Hazbin is a drama with some humor, Helluva is a comedy with some serious moments."
@@MyFireElf A _bit_ misleading, as both shows have a good mix of comedy and drama -- but I can see how that description would work to sell the shows to newcomers.

Just realized re-watching I DO remember why you previously called it on Sir Pentious Ascending. It was Ki Ki... The cat. The Cat suddenly liked him and jumped on his lap and Pentious made puppy dog eyes that the cat liked him.
I read this about Sir Pentious in another comment section.
They basically said that Sir Pentious would’ve been a very dangerous overlord if he didn’t have that facade he always had. Like “I’m the great Sir Pentious, feel my wrath!” Persona. Here in the final battle, we see that genuine badass in him!
The creator had said that Sir Pentious was written to be a goofy villain that from time to time would have moments of true evil. She also said she wanted to see the reaction of the fans to the moments when Sir Pentious would actually look cool.
Well, he survived a hellova long time in hell, he is arguably second in age only to Carmilla and Zestiel.
Cherri just got a reason now to be redeemed in the hotel in order tu reunite with Sir Pentious in heaven ;)
After a rather cursed google search I can tell you that male snakes....and canonically, sir Pentious, do indeed have 2 'male organs' 😂 so angel dust really was rizzing up Pentious for Cherri 😂
I like the twist of Pentious going to heaven, the powers that be dropped him in the Seraphim's office to be like Eff you Sera the system works, which you can see the dread on her face, instead of at the gates with St. Peter like the rest. Also I thought I read somewhere that God won't make an appearance from Viv because of the backlash it might receive
Oh, really? Not gonna lie, I’m glad. It would cause a ton of drama and overshadow the story.

I watched both Pilots back when, didn't like Helluva Boss, but fell in love with Hazbin Hotel.
Know that I have seen everything that both shows have... multiple times... Helluva Boss has become my absolute favorite.
So male snakes actually have two hemipenes which are typically inverted in their cloaca (it’s a single hole for all the things one expects from the groin area) they evert (that is un-invert or stick out) the hemipenes when mating.
A question I've seen people ask a lot in reactions: "Why is Adam so strong?!"
I think the answer is: He is one of the first humans created. He and Lilith are literally built different than all other human souls.
It's probably why Lilith was able to make Hell thrive with her music.

@@danny1ft1 I think you're interpreting the term "built different" wrong, the point is that they are different, yea he was gifted his power, but he wouldnt have been gifted that power if he wasn't the first man. Do you think he was gifted his power because of his charming personality lol? Adam wasn't born from a womb, he was created as a "perfect creation" so his entire existance was gifted by Heaven. He was literally "built" by Heaven, not born like every other human besides Lilith and Eve, hence built different.

Hands down the best episode of the season. The final song is the best in the soundtrack. I was expecting Lilith to make a surprising appearance but I was NOT expecting Pen to appear in heaven. I thought we would get the answer to the shows redemption question at a later point in the story.

SO there is only one moment when Alastor smiles. And its when the deals i made with charlie, he alwasy seems to be carrying a smile even though in this epsiode he seems to be having a mental break down. He says a smile is a valuable tool but his smile doesnt seem to be removed even when he is mad. So try and look at when alastor smiles just after he maeks he deal wth charlie. You can see stitches around his mouth which seem to be stretched. However stitches arnt made to be stretched. Alstor seems to have his mouth seemingly sown to a smile and its only when he makes his deal with charlie that the stitches rip as he gains a True smile. meaning that whomever he made a deal with most nlikly also added those stitches themself

Alastor was indeed the hotel's greatest chance in defeating Adam (if we consider that Charlie, despite being more powerful, is too nice to fight hard). However, one can't forget the power difference between them. Angels are still more powerful than demons. Even if Alastor was right about Adam being sloppy on his fighting style, the latter compensates all that with power alone, which was something the former was not able to overcome.

I agree massively. The only reason Alastor lost is because he overestimated himself. He wasn't using an angelic weapon, so even if he beat Adam, he can't kill him. He was too cocky. Plus, by unclip my wings, it's assumed by most that he's sealed most of his power in this deal. Once again, probably because he assumed he was powerful enough even without some of his power when making the deal. When Alastor and Lucifer argue and Alastor gets pissed at him, it's because Lucifer didn't acknowledge how powerful he was. The only 2 characters who seem to truly get under his skin have been Adam and Lucifer, and it's because they don't acknowledge him as a threat.
@@rafaelmatos5851 Alastor is also more powerful then we saw(not counting his power being restricted). Most people I see don't notice, when Alastor took the blow from Adam's axe, you can see gouge marks on either side of him. Meaning he did BLOCK the majority of the damage with his Mic. It was just too much and broke his mic in half. But it was a direct hit that should of wiped him out like Sir Pentious. So even though his powers are restricted according to him, he is still strong enough for that. He miscalculated. I half worked on a theory involving why he closed his eyes that could explain it. But ultimately he should have dodged faster then take the hit. With his mic damaged he was distracted just long enough to take another hit to his chest. Those 2 miscalculations are what cost him his fight.

Also, it really anoyed me, that Alastor (or his summond minions) could have won very easily against Adam, if he used any of the angelweapons, but i guess they wanted a big finale with Charlie and Lucifer...
Alastor still has no chance against Adam. First man angel is more powerful than one of the overlords.
@@ziyajafar82 You can clearly see Alastor hitting Adam multiple times, with his shadow tentacles also his minions... if any of them had hold a dagger like Nifty, he woudl be dead. I argue same rules as angelblades from Supernatural... any high ranking angel there can just snap their fingers and explode someone, yet they just die by a light stab from the baldes...

Yep, snakes do have several wieners. Usually two main ones and one little bro to each of them in case one of them detaches due to injury, but some species leave them in the female as a plug ... male anacondas are also known to squeeze a plug/spem out of a female to replace it with their own. Teheir peni are stored not towards the body, but within the tail and when they erect, they act like a finger part of a glove, and turn inside out, leaving the cloaca. I could go on for a while but you get the picture.

They're not even the only animal with multipul repriductive apendeges either, there are several insects and slugs that also have 2, and I believe it's the Echidna that has the most (as far as I'm aware) at 4

SO cool to seeing Chris get through this as well. Cant wait to see his reactions to Helluva Boss too. Speaking of which, we still dont actually have the reactions for episode 6 and 7 up here yet. IDK if you've just been holding onto them for a while now or what. Either way its probably best to get them up before long. The next episode should be dropping this month.
Had to take a break but I am stoked you guys enjoyed the show! I love how you guys loved the "More Than Anything" reprise. They both have amazing voices and even though its short its such a beautiful song. I listen to it often. It warms my heart, though the original I cry lol. Supposedly the Vee's are going to be the big bads of next season. With the knowledge heaven can be defeated bolstering everyone up they see it as opportunity to gain power via control. Theres a lot of people who don't see what they are capable of, but its long been established in our history that media, gossip, \ and news has always been used to control the masses. Hell its part of actual warfare that pamphlets were dropped onto populations to break morale before battles and such. The ones who control the "facts" being spread can gain the most. I don't know what is planned for Lilith, she may be more background plot for all we know. But its insane the theories popping up. We got maybe another year+ till next season, but for those of us who waited the full 5 years for it to first come out are patient. Its just amazing they are already recording. For Helluva Boss, I agree it started more comedy and slowly built up the story. They had a lot more freedom staying indie. Helluva Boss being the sister show though has a lot of the dame graphics style and raunchy humor. I am sure you'll enjoy it! And with the rest of season 2 coming this year plus more shorts we are going to feast!
In the bible, there IS a 2nd death and its even stated god will pluck souls from the lake of fire that repeat and those that don't their souls are destroyed the permanent second death. That's what the exorcist angels are doing killing souls permanently .
