You can start with them anytime you feel ready. There will be a period of familiarisation with them regardless. Normally we would see athletes completing this type of work during the winter months with less time being available in season due to busy competition schedules. However, during periods of no competition, it’s possible to return to a period of training where this type of work can be drafted back into the preparation process.
They can be used for warm up whilst you familiarise yourself with them, but can also be progressed to become an integral part of the training process, once you reach a level where you can achieve a great training stimulus from them.

Can i know what is the name of the ball?
These are medicine balls and weighted throwing balls. The weighted balls range from 400g all the way up to 2kg.
