In the last and previous fishing trips, I caught a lot of rainbow trout and yamame trout using "tenkara indicator nymphing".

This time, I tried to compare and verify which one catches more fish, "tenkara indicator nymphing" or "another rig" at the same location.
Although it is difficult to describe as "tenkara indicator nymphing", it is a rural river version of "lantern float kebari fishing" that I use at the source of the river. Since there is less risk of getting the fly caught on vegetation when casting in a rural river than in the source of the river, I use a tenkara rod and a longer line. If you are interested, please try it.

I have been fishing for about 30 years. A new rig called "lantern float kebari fishing" was invented by a man who has experience in bait fishing, mountain stream lures, and tenkara. (Also has knowledge of fly fishing)

いつも楽しく拝見しています。
このチャンネルを見て、提灯毛ばりやインジケーター、タングステンビーズや自己融着テープでニンフを自作したりして釣りしています。
道糸が1.5号と結構太目なのは、なぜなのでしょうか？ある程度太目で糸に張りを持たせたいのと、フライを使用しているので合わせギレ防止の意味もありますか？

いつもご視聴いただきましてありがとうございます。また仕掛けを参考にしていただき、とても嬉しいです。
太い糸を使っている理由ですが、個人的に糸の太さは釣果にはほとんど影響しないと考えているため、釣りをしている最中でのトラブル軽減のため太い糸を使っています。極端な話ですが、源流から本流までナイロン2号で良いんじゃないかと少し考えています。これ以上太くすると、糸にハリがありすぎて結び目がゆるくなる、糸が切れる前に竿が折れる等のトラブルが逆に増えるため、ナイロン2号くらいが実はベストなのではないかと考えています。
