It was a bit rough looking but felt really good. I suspected it was fake but would have bought it anyway if I had the $$ just to display it. Yours looks AWESOME!
The sparkle gold is the only reason I haven't ordered a gold top yet. The more satin-gold that Gibson uses seems to be really hard for the PRC to replicate. Glad it turned out better than your other one.
I just bought this exact guitar also. Great guitar body and neck but the pickups were a bit weak. I replaced these with custom hand wound p90’s and new tuners. It’s now a fantastic guitar
it looks nice . i have a USA les paul and its a 3 piece neck and probably 2 pieces body , you don't want one piece neck it ill wrap fast it requires neck adjustment twice a year ,you ll max out the tross in 5 years lol. its more stable and stronger multiple pieces . the wood grain running one direction is prone to wrap and brake . now there are two big factories or more in China with top notch equipment that make LPs as good as US . buying guitar from china is hit or miss . never buy from small sellers online they usually have no modern equipment and the wood they use is crap stored outside. find a major company big one and order direct from it. you are super lucky the neck looks fabulous
I find it funny that the chinese can do a pretty good job with fret work, binding, and finish.....but for whatever reason they cannot get the volume and tone controls positioned properly. Probably the easiest part of constructing the guitar.
I am looking hard at the same gold top on AliExpress. Always dreamed of a goldtop edition to the family and I'll take a decent semblance of one until I can manage the real. Which may be never. Although I have hope because I was told when I was 18 (1989) that I wouldn't be able to touch an LP for under 1,000. Found 2 that were 500 in the same store. And I have one of them still. It does seem shiny. Did you not replace the bridge then?

+Axxell Br. If you are ok with doing some work on your guitars, I would recommend getting one. They do require a fair amount of setup/modifications to get them up to par.
No scarf joint on this neck on this one. However it is a 2 piece neck as it has a heal joint (which all chibsons do). The seller is Jazz Guitars. +WarmachineCAN good to know. Thank you. It's always a risk, I just bought a lemon with a warped neck and locked truss rod. The seller refused to return it and I've been in a dispute for over two weeks. I pretty much have a guitar-shaped piece of firewood. Lol!

+ken masters I've since stopped buying them. But I was buying them to cut my teeth modifying them myself and have a bit of fun in doing so. I wouldn't dream of modifying my real Gibsons. So these were an inexpensive and fun way to get my foot in the door. I'm now building super strats. :)

Agreed. However, they pretty much nailed the headstock and body on my last Chibson from 2017. Next to my real Gibsons, it's truly difficult to tell the difference.
The horn is way too sharp. Looks like the same body used by the company Vintage or Harley Benton to get away from the copywright/intellectual property law

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. The finish on this is nice. But it's nothing like the real satin gold top finish of a Gibson.

They still never get the headstock right. The distance from the d and g tuners to the open book is too long .
