  • This video highlights The Villages Deep Sea Fishing Club's trip with Captain Casey Russell of Crystal River Guide Service. The trip left from Shrimp Landing in Crystal River Florida. We fished for snook, redfish and spotted seatrout.
Charlie and Jennifer Pryde have lived in The Villages for three year's and in Central Florida for seventeen years. Our main activities in The Villages are biking, fitness parks, pickle ball, platform tennis, golf and swimming. We love to travel throughout Florida, the United States and internationally. Our TH-cam channel’s focus is on promoting a physically active lifestyle for mature adults, but we will also indulge ourselves in a good restaurant, bakery or watering hole that we find during our travels.

Undeveloped coastline, a rare thing in Florida.

I love fishing Crystal River. I just moved to TV from the west coast (WA), and need to check into the DSFC.

No, it is considered saltwater as we were well outside the river fishing on some mangrove islands. That area is known for its crystal-clear water and healthy grass flats. It is a prime area for snorkeling for scallops in season.
