As a brony musician from Hong Kong, I have been fascinated by the unique and exquisite cultures of the Lunar New Year, and nothing could be better than capturing this festive atmosphere with music.
Much like the many pieces of world music we composed in the past year or so, Lunar New Fiesta stands out in the sense that it is a creative fusion between Chinese traditional folk-style melodies and intense yet upbeat Western marching-style percussion.
Part of our latest album "Year of the Dragon," Lunar New Fiesta delicately fuses all of these features and transforms this mix into a Chinese New Year spectacle, making this an exhilarating fiesta that will surely get you dancing to the rhythms and singing to the melodies.
