    Doing excellent work mate!

Good vid. Always best to check the pulley on the encoder, as that also tends to wear out as well. Recently done this with a belt change, very cheap to replace and easy to do.
For spindle ordination parameter, I believe it’s 257? Thinking the top of my head. Clock the drive dogs and slow increase or decrease the parameter. You’ll get a better understanding from the raw data from the encoder by going into debug mode > position > page down till you get to the raw data page. If you spin the spindle by hand, you’ll notice which is the encoder. The raw data from encoder is the same values to input on the parameters.

      Hi
      Thanks for watching,
I was going to go into the setting of the parameter too but the youtuber "Cnc repair guy" just done a video of the older haas control doing it exactly the way you just said so i thought i wouldnt go into it again as his was a really good easy to understand video already
The encoder pulley is easy to change but the motor ones can be heat shrunk on and a real nightmare to remove
      Thanks
      Marc

@@kinzy_fabrications Yeah the one behind the motor, is Harden and the only way to get them off is to heat it up. From my experience, I’ve never had to do that because the teeth on them are wear resistance and pretty damn good. It’s always the pulley on the encoder and/or the belt that go.

I actually have some encoder pulley's here but i havent bored them to size, if you buy them online with a pilot hole bore they are really cheap but if you buy them direct from Haas they are a bit much i think

@@kinzy_fabrications I agree. I always try to source components or make them myself than going to Haas. However, sometimes there are things that are unavoidable.

      Hi
If your getting the 235 alarm that is more likely to be a problem with the actual encoder ? Check the connectors are not loose and if possible swap it with an encoder on another machine to confirm
      Thanks

@@kinzy_fabrications I changed new encoder and belt. Updated all the parameter like haas. Make sure all the connector is good. But I still have .235 alarm when I power up machine. Can't reset it
