I already noticed he changed his style of play. He's more measured now when the ball is in his hands, his eyes takes in the whole floor now in a peripheral way. He's passing, he's distributing, he can sit on a bench and rest a few minutes without the team losing anything on the floor. Overall, their defensive intensity is a lot better than last year. I see them going deep into the playoffs.

What’s crazy is he’s always played this way the majority of the time. He’s a kyrie level ball handler with Chris Paul vision and a crazy layup package who just happens to have insane hops. He has 4-5 absurd layups every game, with a big dunk ever 3 games and everyone nationally thought that’s all he did.

You're way underrating Chris Paul. Morant is a good passer, probably top 10 in the NBA right now. CP3 is probably top 5 all-time. That's a HUGE difference.
That's not to put down Morant. He could have a real case for the 5th spot on the MVP ballot right now behind Jokic, Giannis, Tatum, and Shai. But he's not close to being on the short list of the best passers in NBA history.

I mean JA's biggest asset is brand value which is tied to dunking, if Ja makes close to no dunks if not stop for the rest of his career then it's the opposite of improvement; Ja needs to load mange smart safe dunks regularly to improve, JA just doesn't do risky dunks playing against the pistons on meaningless games not even on tv.

@@Evan-i4e no, ja's brand is based on his acrobatic playstyle, his larger than life approach, his off court dress style, even his hair. even if he stops going for crazy posters his brand will always remain strong- the dancing, the taunting, the shoes, the look, all of that is what keeps his brand

@ saying he was not good nor moral is just wrong. As someone who lives in Memphis, he did many great things for the kids and people in the city from the moment he came. He has always been a fantastic father. He just didn't do those things for attention so people don't know the positive things he did before the suspensions. People also don't know the year he got into all that trouble was literally his first year living as an adult on his own. When he first came into the league his whole family (mom, dad, sister) lived with him the first 3 years so fame could bring them closer together not far apart. That first year own his own though he wilded and made mistakes he had to learn from like many young, rich kids. He was still good and moral despite that.

If you’re really looking you can already tell that he is.
Saying that as a Miami fan.
D-Rose and the staff had a very good influence on him. He’s a good guy.
Ppl forget that his come up was not one of an early celebrated all American who was cheered by everyone.
His come up was by sticking it to the man and proving those wrong who didn’t believe in his talent.
It took a maturing process deciding what you want to stand for instead of fighting with your back against a wall.
I believe D-Rose with his approach of a humble hustler whose talent and abilities were undeniable was incredibly valuable for a young rebellious Ja who was put in a position that maybe five ppl in the history of the NBA could have had the authority to speak to him about it b/c they’ve been there.
And then it’s Rose with his great value system. We can’t thank him enough. Ja was on a dangerous path

I believe he's brandishing. It implicates you in irresponsible gun ownership which, just like traveling in a vehicle, is a right you can lose if used as such. I may be wrong though...

The 2nd amendment imposes rules against the government, not private organizations. It's also legal to make your own food, obviously. Doesn't mean theatres and restaurants can't ban you from bringing it in.
If the NBA wants to make a rule against having pet dogs and permanently ban all violators from playing in the league, they can do that too. It would be a stupid move though.

The Grizzlies are beginning to become such a good team. The amount of support Ja gives to his guys (especially the ones who can catch fire) is so joyful to watch. It's tuff KLJR couldn't have stuck around for this next evolution of the team.

It's official Ja Morant is better than Zion and it will never be close ever again. Ja Morant continues to improve and Zion continues to decline. When Zion averaged 27/7/4 on 61% FG% at just 20 years old he appeared to be the next Charles Barkley but it appears he ate himself out of being an All Star. This year he's averaging 22ppg on just 45% FG%. What a massive (Fat get it?) disappointment.

You can’t be doing dumb shi when you have that type of fame especially in this era where the internet will always find ways to find fault in famous people. Suspending him was actually light compared to some people who got blacklisted. If he wanted to flash a gun, why do it on ig infront of thousands of people. It’s also a bad rep for the NBA as a large international organization.

I just don’t like morants cockiness. It’s quite out of hand at most times and he’s very disrespectful to people he shouldn’t be and should have a lot more respect for like beaking off coaches and trying to disrespect the veterans of the game like they are nothing because they aren’t like they used to be. Aside from that, if he can tone that shit down he’d be a great model player for the league.
