There’s a few iterations of “eat corn cob through a picket fence.” We used to say it for someone with a jacked up grill. For example, my daughter is loosing teeth right now and growing new ones, etc., looking all snaggled-tooth. I tell her “great day in the morning honey! You could eat green beans out the jug!” “Collard greens out a can.” The list goes on haha.
And yonder is relative. I’m in Front Royal, so Ashburn is way over yonder. But Winchester is just up yonder. While, at the same time, my neighbor lives just down yonder. In other words, there is no “mathematical measurement” as Smoot ponders. Context is what’s key for yonder.

So much good happening with Wash.New owner, coaches, Franchise rookie QB with actual talent, LB corp, pieces of OL coming along.ROY talks with JD. Yet in the end we still have work to do to be competitive with the likes of Phil. Year 1 with all that will keep teams guessing on our potential and actual game planning/ playmaking. All the Aiyuk talk will not go away. We have Scarry Terry. love him. But nobody else is PROVEN. There are a cr@p ton of IF, IF, IF. Hopefully all the IFs pan out. But to bring BA in would instantly energize the fanbase, and change our teams outlook. Case in point, I would buy season tickets the moment BA comes to Wash. Many I know feel that way. By not doing that trade it re-enforces fans feeling of mediocrity. We understand AP/ DQ rebuild pref is through draft. But next season, the opponent will know a lot of those IFs and our play style in year 2. Just dont see the downsides of giving draft picks and pay to excite the players, fanbase, and give our Rookie every chance at a great rookie year. Not doing it and some of those IFs not panning out could delay or stunt his growth. If AP, DQ, Harris want to get the fans truly excited it seems a logical trade.
One man (Aiyuk) can not get the team to a superbowl. He's a great talent, but we have other players who will need to be paid as well. Snyder's days of overpaying one player are hopefully DEAD. If EVERYONE can be paid, then that's how you build and win.
