What a precious, pure teacher. Such a stainless example is almost impossible to find these days, let alone explaining Buddha's profound teachings on emptiness flawlessly! Thank you, venerable Geshe-la. May you remain forever to turn the wheel of Dharma.
Dear Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, thank you for your teaching. Please remain for countless eons to spread the doctrine of Buddha to all living beings.
I go to a Kadampa Buddhist Centre at least once a week and it has never provided anything other than peace, love and compassion. Geshe-la's books are so clear and concise and without him and his wish to spread Dharma and peace throughout the world, my centre would not have been started and I would not be starting a journey with Dharma. Also, everything that has been said is 100% relevant to me, which is fantastic.
Ven Geshe Kelsang has only ever set a perfect example of a selfless monk and devoted his life to spreading the Buddhadharma for the benefit of all beings without exception . Thank you very much for this video

When you listen to Ven Geshe Kelsang - you need to listen carefully and without judgement…as soon as you you think "I can't understand a word he's saying!?!?" - you will never understand him, you will never 'hear'……..forget his accent - HE'S TIBETAN..!!….its the words that have meaning…….and everything he says can be found in his many, many clear and precise books. x
@kadampajewel The difference is the His Holiness speaks to a general audience, rather than a small number of followers. He talks to christians, muslims, buddhists from other traditions, not only to "Gelugpa followers". Nor he is trying to attract disciples or construct centers for preaching. So when he speaks, he uses universal terms and principles. Very wise and a true upaya from a compassionate man as him!
lo que yo se es mi experiencia. Yo nunca tuve problemas con los Kadampas de hecho voy mucho a centro y puedo compartir que son excelentes personas y su único proposito es honestamente promover las enseñanzas de Buda para cualquiera persona. Yo ni siquiera entiendo cuál es el problema.
@xthia25:I commented in response to one that has been de-listed so it appears out of context. I wish for Enlightenment for the benefit of all & for that I need clear instructions which my Teacher provides. And the only wish of Geshe La is to have innumerable such disciples. It is of course beneficial for all people irrespective of their religion to receive universal teachings. For me, I need clear instructions from someone who has experience of them & I am fortunate to have this Teacher.

Amid all of the seriousness generated, is it such a difficult thing to do to simply examine a picture or statue of Dorje Shugden? If you do you will notice several symbols: the monastic robes, the sword, the heart, the hat and the snow lion. These respectively represent; moral discipline, wisdom, compassion, Nagarjuna's view and virtuous fearlessness - all traditional Mahayana Buddhist qualities, though for many it seems that now, such characteristics are those of an evil spirit.
It is very clear who is a fake master and who is a true master. All anyone has to do is read a book written by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and a book written by the Dalai Lama. The clarity of the instructions will reveal the truth.
Is it traditional to give a discourse on development by reading from a book!!!

Well just as I thought he's been caught committing negative action he is making threats to those who disrobe and share their thoughts on breathing exercise by way of a little booklet that makes 99 pence for charity. Speaking of charity the rules of charity status are abused and ignored by the NKT infact he has been heard saying he takes notice of British law.

Lie is lie, no matter how many time you tell, it can't become a truth just like brass cannot become a gold no matter how many times you polish. Ke-Ngen Gyatso, What proof and what citation do you have that Shugdhen is a Manifestatio of Je Tsongkhapa?? Are you trying to praise Je- Tsongkhapa's teachings or polluting pure Gelukpa Tradition.
Kelsang gyatso la did anyone come to you protesting because most number of tibetan buddhist dont agree with you. Then why you sending and funding and advising people to protest against his holiness.the one who banning the religious freedom is you.
With all due respect geshe kelsang..i pity on you. Dont misinform those westerners. neither history of tibetan buddhist will lie nor will it die. If you wana make some money through teaching, i reckon you talk on topics like *four noble truth* and some basics to help them for their daily activities by becoming better human being.
Pity on u guys, may u do some research on buddhism or understand its real teaching.
