Fly Fishing an INCREDIBLE Looking Creek for Trout! (Brook Trout Heaven)

  • This is probably my favorite brook trout video footage I've ever gotten!!
    In this video I fly fish for some of the most beautiful fish on earth in some of the most picture perfect country in the US. These native fish are very opportunistic and are very willing to feed on dry flies which make this video very special. I sat for hours watching and fishing for these brook trout as they cruised the shallows of this tannic / red - colored stream.
    I hope everyone likes the video! And thanks for watching.

    Ok. My name is Isaac. I am on my fiance Tara's account, but I am OBSESSED with your brown trout game. It's what turned me back on to fly fishing and what made me go spend the money on a risen 3/4 weight 7 foot 3 piece. I love it. Not the best for the tiny streams around here. But it works. Love my rod. Love my reel. Love the thrill of being back on a fly rod and experiencing new places. With that being said. I KNOW YOUR LOVE FOR BROOKIES IS STROOOONG!!! Have you ever considered coming up to Wisconsin? There are places with 20 plus inch brook trout here. North Wisconsin is beautiful and and is still loaded with fish if you love adventuring. The brule towards superior is supposed to be amazing. There are huge lake brooks here as well. Just a thought of you ever do make it this way,,, PLEASEEEE take me with you!!! Lol. And ps. I used to keep most of my trout to eat. Now if I have like 1 or 2 in the fridge I can't fathom taking more out of a river. I have got so much better at catch and release and conserving the home of the fish and themselves better. Thanks for the positive influence and all you and Andrew do to keep this passion alive. Keep it up boysss!!

    I love your channel , thanks for your efforts and showing these little beauties. I have a question, I own a 6 acre lake with rainbows and brookies in it and they are doing very well, they are stocked of course. I am thinking of building a spawning area and creek where the brookies can do their thing. I have about 800 feet to do it but that's all before it tops out at a swamp, the water quality will improve quickly in that short section but do you think 800 feet of brook trout stream is enough for them? Or am I wasting my time? I can manage flow, build riffles and pools etc and areas to cool and filter the water....Thanks!

    I have not been to your area, but would love to visit some day, but I'm afraid time is probably against me. But hey, you never know. Great video as usual and loved seeing my favorite trout (the brookie) swimming about in a rather strange yet beautiful colored water. I've said this before, but I get so much peace from just listening to a mountain stream. I assume most of your streams originate higher up from a spring? Are there many lakes where streams flow into and out giving you even more opportunity for great year around trout fishing?

    • @hardmanfishing
      @hardmanfishing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yep most of the streams are either spring fed or originate in high enough elevation to stay cool year round. But no I don't have many lakes in my region
